I have part time work, I started doing a call centre job kasi matagal pala maka kuha ng work sa government. May kakilala ako, after passing the technical assessment, after 2 months pa tinawagan for interview and then it took them 2 months to give the job then another 2 months to have the reference checked. Nakapag-technical assessment na ako for City of Winnipeg and Manitoba Province. And who knows when they will call me, kaya hindi ko no inintay and accepted this other job offer. End of the day, I was able to get the Canadian Experience that they say will be the barrier to get into jobs here.
So, at the moment, I am working part-time (3-4x/ week for 7 hours/day), depending on the availability of projects (survey kasi, marketing research), training for a volunteering position, looking for a full time job. Mahirap na isingit ang blogging. Pero, I still want to be active in helping out people in sharing my own experiences.
Kailan ba yan sa Manitoba Start. I don't really have that much good experience with them. Medyo asar ako sa treatment nila eh. Panay push ng push yung job unit nila, refer pa ng refer pero when it comes for me handing them my resume, wala kang marinig. Pero tawag sila ng tawag to get in touch with me and refer me jobs sa job bank nila and they kept on saying they will email me, blah blah blah! Para bang masabi na meron silang ginagawa pero, wala naman results. And don't get me started on my career coach... talagang super dami kong masasabi na nakakainis.
