Ang Dios ay Purihin!

PPR recieved this morning Nov. 06. Praying that things will go smoothly and accordingly. I might miss the target date for submission to VO within 30 days from now. Hopefully not...Lord please.

May God help me on this!

Pray, pray and pray....

Yes.

If you want to see a specimen, try to google "canadian immigrant visa" and after the results select "images" instead of Web in browser. That will bring up pics/images of the visa issued.

Thanks bro! Email has been sent this morning..requesting for possible extension or additional "palugit" sana ma-grant kahit 15 days para nasa safe side ako sayang naman kung mag resign agad ako tapos medyo bibilang pa ako ng 6-7 months bago ako makaalis saka di rin sure kung makauwi agad ako from KSA, baka sabihin ng company ko 1 month notice eh di parang ganun din..anyways tanong ko lang bro: meron ka bang alam na na-grant ng extension or same situation as mine?

Considering my situation, kanino ba ako dapat mag send ng email request for extension or grace period? Sa CEM-VO or sa CIO? alin sa kanila ang posibleng mag response or mag-grant ng request ko...

Please enlighten..thanks!

To CEM.

Generally any requests/correspondence are sent to the VO processing your application.

CIO (Centralized Intake Office) does the pre-checks for eligibility to the PNP applied for and does the checks for completeness of the application (in compliance to the IRPA rules and regulations). If your application has passed eligibility and compliance - then it is transferred to the VO for further processing (admissibility checks).

If your application file has been transferred to CEM, all correspondence/requests/submissions will be sent to CEM (as your VO). Similarly, all requests/instructions are expected to come from CEM.

Thanks for that enlightenment..anyhow I sent my emailed request to CEM this morning, however given the fact that they requiring 30-day period to submit the PP, do you think they will allow possible extension or grace period having my scenario stated in compliance with the working visa or permits regulations being now implemented in Saudi Arabia? (please read my previous posts..)
I pray that CEM may allow to extend more days in submitting our passports, or else it might be delayed for 10 days before reaching VO in Manila.

My hubby stayed here for 2 years and I for 1 year and 7 months.

Exit Singapore na po kami on 26 November 2013 to give way to the preparations of migrating to British Columbia on the 3rd Week of February 2014.

Hope I can hear from you po.

Thanks in Advance!

Patulong po, newbie lang po ako dito:

Eto po yung ECAS status namin (AINP):

We received your application for permanent residence on May 11, 2012.

We started processing your application on January 23, 2013.

Medical results have been received (updated July 11, 2013).

Dalawa po ang question ko:

1. Nakareceived po kami ng e-mail letter noong Nov 4, 2013 galing ng Immigration visa section na "for further medical" po kami, kasi expired na yung first medical (Sep 2012-Sep 2013) c/o strike cgro. Kailangan daw matanggap ang result before Nov 4, 2013, pero kase-send lang po yung e-mail on that day- Nov 4, 2013, typo error ho ba yung deadline day? Yung attached PDF copy for the Doctor/Clinic was dated 24Sep13, pero nag-e-mail lang po sila on Nov 4, 2013. Then sabi sa PDF kailangan ma-comply within 90 days. Sa PDF copy ho ba kami mag-rerely ng palugit or sa e-mail?

2. After yung closing at signature section ng e-mail, meron pong other requirements( NBI, application form, passport, etc) with heading: "PLEASE SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW FOR FURTHER INFORMATION on REQUESTED ITEMS".

· change in health;
· the laying of any criminal charges or conviction for a criminal offence;
· change in your mailing address / e-mail address and/or telephone number
Failure to inform this office of any changes of the above may render you and your family members inadmissible to Canada. If you have already been issued immigrant visas, you are not allowed to arrive in Canada without informing this office in writing of any of the above circumstances and receiving our specific direction on the next steps you must take. Failure to declare family members (dependants) during processing will permanently exclude them from later sponsorship in the Family Class, according to paragraph 117 (9) (d) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations 2002. You cannot declare new or previously undeclared dependants when you arrive in Canada and if you do, you and your accompanying family members will all be denied entry into Canada.

@ ragluf: If you don't mind, I came across this question in one of the threads and wondered about it myself.

If CIC considered your application complete, will they still be asking for anymore additional documents? Or will it be forwarded it to the visa office already?

The question should be (applicable for PNP applicants):
if CIO (not CIC) considers your application complete….

A short description for the process would be : The CIO can be described as a “pre-screening” office - applications are perused for eligibility to the PNP program being applied for, and checked for compliance to IRPA regulations/rules. If the application is considered complete at this stage, then an AOR is sent from CIO, specifying compliance and along with your receipt for payment of fees. The application is sent/transferred to the VO for further processing. At this point, the application has been “handed-off” to the VO, and no more documents/requests/correspondence from the CIO is expected.

If there are documents missing in the initial submission to CIO, or if there are forms unfilled, signatures missing, payment method wrong oftentimes the whole package is returned to the applicant to rectify the issues, before resubmission.

As soon as the file has been transferred to the VO all correspondence is now sent between the VO and the applicant. Another AOR (among other instructions) is normally sent specifying that all correspondence from this on will be sent to the VO.

At the VO, further processing usually entails admissibility review - which means additional documents/procedures are requested to determine if the applicant can be admitted into Canada. This is where medical examinations (part of medical checks), updated police certificates (part of security/criminality checks), and clarifications on background travels, gaps in personal history, among other things, are requested.
