Timeline after submission on the new PR confirmation portal

Hi guys ، I am waiting for my COPR I uploaded pic throughout online portal yesterday, I can see in another forum some people are waiting from Jan to receive their PR card in mail and I can see some others that are receiving their PR card in mail in less than a month after receiving their online COPR in portal, I am a bit confused, how long does it take for me after receiving COPR in my portal to receive PR card in mail, I am asking because I need to plan an important trip out of Canada soon

I would not say it this way. If there is discrepancy then it may lead to delays in issuing your eCOPR. Make sure you give them correct information.

Alternatively, you can ask for your entry and exit record from CBSA, but I think the turnaround time for that is approximately 30 days

I got wrong PDF and I replied on it as that doesn’t belongs to me, as well I send them my information,

Send a webform. Responses from IRCC can take 1-3 weeks.

I received portal confirmation email on 20 May 2021 and portal credentials on 21 May 2021. Submitted all the details same day for me and all my dependents, confirmed we are inside Canada too. Still waiting for COPR. My VO is now Etobicoke and I received portal emails from Etobicoke too.

How long they take to issue COPR ? I have seen usually applicants are getting COPR in couple of days from Etobicoke. Can you please provide any timeline for this office. I got at this stage after exact 16 months.

There is no timeline as such as it differs form case to case, but usually its a quick turnaround within days. For many it is 1-2 weeks at the most.

For me it’s been 4 working days wait, one another applicant in another thread is waiting for his COPR SINCE 8th May from Calgary VO. Isn’t it strange. Please put some light on it.

It all depends on the officer who is assigned to you file. Usually it should not take too long. If it does, you can call IRCC, but give it 1-2 weeks at least before you call to send a webform.

you should contact them on that email. it is said in the email that if you have any query then please reach out on this email.

Did you get your portal credentials email? If yes- May I know when did you get your first & then second email?

Hi! Not yet. The first email was sent by IRCC but signed as “Virtual Landing Unit”, I wonder if that affects somehow? I’ll give it another day, if I don’t receive it by tomorrow I’ll send them an email.
