Hi Ghanaboy,

Well I got my GCMS notes early November and there was an "Outgoing" section where it says I was approved as a sponsor and there is a due date of December 26 2014..I don't know if that means when I will hear from them or not.

But according to everyone here (I read the forum from page 100 or so) it seems like 5 months from the day you submit if there are no complications. It has been 3 months for me since application filed and I got the sponsorship approval on Oct 27.

So hopefully in a month or 2?

Yeah so let's hope that early January or late December u will hear from them,but look it's a sign of good news when u are not hearing from cic

hmmmmm @ Ghanaboy....do you really think its a good sign when we dont hear from cic? Our application have been in process since Sept 2012. The last time we heard from them was around June 2013...

It's weird because the website says 16 months, you're way past that.

I don't understand then how some people on here got their stuff in 5-6 months.

Can someone explain? why the website says 16 months but things seem to be moving fast for some.

MOH1979, it is not a magic because Accra is extremly fast at the moment when it come to reuniting families. I would say that documentation and evidence is the key to timing. Also, using lawyers that are known for doing fraud related sponsorship can delay your process. In all honesty, if someone is not in fake relationship they should be able to have edivence to justify their application process.Again, good luck to everyone that is still trying to figure it out, I hope that you guys all come to the land of cold.

Dnt u worry at all possible,u will hear from them soon,accra is through with ur application they are only waiting for vegriville to complete background checks and visa will be issued so keep using local .mp and also order the notes to see what is happening

Hello sir, greetings. Please i read the part you said accra is extremely fast at the moment when it comes to reuniting families. Please my file was transfered and received by accra since August but 5months now i have not received any email for my MR. Do you the files month accra is working on now?

I agree if things are in order, then it shouldn't take long.

I actually think what Ghanaboy said is true, when you don't hear from them, it's probably because things are going well and the next notification could be that they want your passport.

I wish I was in this forum when it was busier..things are quiet now...

Hi I have not heard much more just that proof of payment for removal fees were requested. We have finished that I hope it does not take too long.
