I agree....also for children born outside Canada, if we dont take them to Canada on TRV , mostly one parent stays back with kids till PPR & that parent if PR like me; has a residency obligation too to take care of...& another parent has to be physically present in Canada while sponsorship of children is ongoing....
Agreed, I am also in same situation. My kid's TRV was refused in march hence my husband has travelled and submitted PR application and I am back home with the baby.

Congrat!! Almost there!
Thank you Agnes8181

This is the hardest and most uncertain part. Because of the responses people are getting after sending the Passport to CPC-Ottawa. Hoping things happen smoothly and my son gets his PR.

Thank you All. Wishing you all luck and hope to hear good news from everyone.

It has been a long process thus far.

You can apply for OHIP if you have the address and Id proofs and have moved to Ontario. They have waived the 3 month waiting period but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for OHIP even if you get the card. I am not sure if you can have two health cards. Most likely the SK one will be cancelled.

For your twins, if there is atleast PPR mail you can try requesting for them as well. It was denied for my son based on the Pre Arrival mail.
