The way it's going now AOR for you will be in April. There is nothing you can do. They hardly grant TRV to sponsorship applicants because they feel you won't return to your country at the expiration of the visa. Best thing is if your wife can travel with the child stay a few months and go back and meet the baby. But why do you feel her PR status will be in jeopardy
because of less stay than 2 years. She has to be here from may 1st week to till march 2019 to complete exactly 2 years.

The only alternative is that she travels without the baby. Stay a few weeks and go back to India like I initially suggested. Or you can try applying for the TRV again with a more compassionate letter or you can tell them the truth about your wives current situation. Most times being open with CIC works out pretty well

You are correct, I didn't wanted to hide anything... i haven't explained the situation to them before( i was confident that my son will get visa). Now i am planning to explain the problem , just want to wait for another month. in case if i get AOR( i can have a proof that i have applied for PR and waiting for outcome)
thanks a lot.

Hi All,

I have landed myself in the soup. I sent my daughter's paper for dependent child sponsorship in October'18. I received the returned application yesterday from CIC stating i had missed out a signature on one of the forms. This means i have to send her papers again and the clock starts from zero. This is almost february. So no way she is getting her one time entry visa stamped before October / November given the current processing times. My daughter is in India with my parents and i had planned to bring her here in July'19 assuming her paper work goes through. But now that it is sent back and i don't have enough time to get her PR before July, can someone please suggest what are my options?
Can i apply for her visitor visa and then start her process again once she is here? Has anyone done that before? What are her chances of getting her visitor visa approved? Any advice will help. I can't wait for another 9 months to get her here. It is such a harrowing experience to be away from her.

Please advise.

Regards
Ashita

Hi, a query, i was thinking that does receiving aor means that your application is complete or can you receive aor and still your application can be deemed incomplete after review? Thanks

Haven't seen cases were an application was returned after getting an AOR. Its only when a temporary UCI and application number is given that is when there is a chance of the application being returned
