This might sound repetitive but could someone tell me the process of sending a case specific inquiry? I applied in Feb 2010 and sent all docs in September 2010.....I am , like everyone else in this forum, waiting for a letter asking for updated docs or Medical Request.

Regards,
Smikri

Lookin at my caips report...Just a query, anyone can asnwer .

Is UCI (unique client identification) the same thing , what in caips, is written as "client ID" ??.

If yes, every member of the family has a different client ID in caips, but on top, (next to file number), the client ID mentioned is of principal applicant.....

So my question is:

Is UCI the same thing as the "principal applicant's Client ID" in caips ??

Ps: by the way, my 2nd AOR does not have this ID. It just has the 2nd File Number.

Yes, Client ID in CAIPS is the same thing as UCI. It's an 8-digit number starting with 6 and each family member has a different number. You can try logging in to your status check on CIC website instead of your application number and you'll see you can still log in. And it also mentions UCI/Client ID in the options. I have written Client ID in my updated forms instead of UCI and I am very confident about this.

yes, u r right....mine is also 8 digits and starts with a 6.....and I checked my ecas using my client I'd (I am principal applicant) and it logs me into my status....

So, it means the "Principal Applicant's Client ID mentioned in Caips" is their UCI number, right ?

Thanks kaafmeem and SMSH.
I applied in 2006 and got refusal in 2009 and then applied in 2010 again
In my GCMS UCI is same as per my first case whereas file number was changed
They also mentioned that they compared the information and found same
Thanks to Allah so far every thing is ok and hopefully now they will issue the visa soon
I am already waiting from 6 years.... You guys are lucky that only you have to wait for 3 years only maximum

Yes, I know wat u mean bro...immi is a loooong process n people have waited SO long for it....used to take 7-8 years pehley....with MI-1 takes about 3 years......with MI-2 + MI 3, it takes 1-2 years .......with the new upcoming MI, they claim it ll take less than 1 year.......

kher, MOST importantly for us: Now all of us r SO close to it...Let's pray we all get it now, so this mentally torturous journey gets completed successfully...Inshallah.

Hi All,

I have been member of this forum for some time but been less active as compared to others. I received CAIPS file today. This was provided to me within 3 weeks which I think is good time frame. I would need help from seniors analyzing this file. As far as I can understand, files summary is,

POSITIVE SELDEC ENTERED
PLEASE REQUEST THE FOLLOWING
UPDATED FORMS
UPDATED PC PAK (2)
UPDATE PC FROM UK FOR SPOUSE
PC FROM UK FOR PA
RPRF

I welcome comment from anyone plz.

Which site did you use for the service and how much was the cost ?

Bro-i don't think what u re saying is right...I think what I mentioned earlier is correct....(Still not 100% sure though)

Reason for saying that is:

I just tried to check my ecas using client I'd number for the first time (instead of file number).....and firstly, the 'indentification type' drop down box says "client I'd number/unique client identifier" (both together, with a / in between)....so I put this client I'd number written in caips, and it opened my e-cas....

So, would appreciate if some else could also comment on this....I know its not a big deal...just curious...thanks.

Yes you are right Jimmy Page as I just tried my client ID in caips notes and was able to access my e-case. But the difference is that even in caips there is no client ID for my MRs and kids ID does not open e-case. Any way I have used that mentioned in caips as UCI in my updated forms as never received 2nd AOR through the post.

Please don't shot me for asking this but what is 2nd AOR. When was it received? I submitted full docs in June 2010 and I received a letter from CHC London on 10-Aug 2010. Was that 2AOR? After that I received 6-12 month letter in April 2012.

10-Aug 2010 = 2nd AOR
