Side effects of waiting for a PR in Canada!
Good one! I think the side effects of waiting for the U.S. Green Card are worse though

Salseiro said:Guys, don't be too shy. I got my passport processed and immigrant visa issued in three days after receiving the PPR. You should not contact any CVAC to have this done: their role is to support, not to make suggestions. Write your local VO, tell its Visas and Immigration Section that you received a passport request, notified CIC about the need to transfer your case to the VO in question and ask them for further instructions. My VO simply told me to send everything to them right away through a CVAC and issued everything in three days. And I am yet to hear from CIC that they did hand my case over.![]()
