Hello Legalfalcon,

I need help about one issue I found during review of my application,

I am submitting my PR application shortly, my query is,

In my temporary work permit application, My sisters name is accidentally not included by a third party consular service, my employer used to file temporary work permit and my mistake that I did not pay close attention before signing It.

Now that I am applying for PR, In family information form I am including my sisters name.
Will it cause any any problems, I mean can this be a reason of rejection of my PR application.

No, this will not cause any issues. The only reason why IRCC wants the name of family members is because they want to ensure that there are no security issues with your family on which the PA could be inadmissible. Once you file your PR application, send a LoE and in that explain that you inadvertently did not mention your sister's name in the Terms Work Permit application. Further, send them a documentation where in it can be proved that your sister has the same parents. It could be her and your birth certificate, just to real to IRCC that you are not making things up.

Can you please help me, as what I can do to get the information updated (to get my family member name added)

Dear LegalFalcon,

Hope you are felling better now.....I am in the process of submitting my PR application. I am the Principal Applicant and have received a Provincial Nomination. While I was filling in my hubbys Personal History I noted that the name of the College mentioned where he studied for one of his Degrees was by mistake entered incorrectly in the EE Profile. The Degree has been Issued by the 'University of Helena, Holland" which is the Parent University of all Colleges in the City obtaining this Degree.

The entry in the EE Profile is as follows:

IN the EE Profile it states " Government College of Commerce & Economics - University of Helena, Holland" whereas it is actually supposed to be written as follows "Government College of St. Judes - University of Helena, Holland"

The ECA from University of Toronto simply states " University of Helena, Holland"
2 Years Associate Degree

Kindly advise - should I ignore and hope the officer simply accepts the University Of Helena as the Degree issuing Authority as given in the ECA.
OR should I just write "University of Helena, Holland" in the Personal History and Education Sections which is technically correct and make no mention of the College OR should I write Government College - University of Helena, Holland

The EE Profile is locked so cant do anything there.

Kindly let me know as soon as possible course of action.

Really appreciate all your help.

In your pst ITA application you can change information given that it will not impact your points. So no need to worry about that. In your letter of explanation let them know that in your EE profiled you made an inadvertent error of mentioning the university as xxxx, instead of yyyy, which is reflected in the WES ECA. It will not be an issue.

Hope this helps!

Hello Legalfalcon,

Asking this on behalf of my cousin.

My cousin has got Canadian work experience and he can qualify under CEC for PR. However, HR in his Canadian employer is only providing a basic job description which puts him under NOC level C. Though he prepared a separate job description letter of his actual day to day duties which would put him under NOC level B, his manager agreed that he performed these duties though he will not sign on any document as proof.

Question:
-Can we select NOC for level B and provide letter from HR, our own detailed job description letter, an explanation letter that HR will not provide detailed job description letter along with manager's contact details who agrees on my day to day job duties?
-Is this an acceptable proof of work for IRCC?
-Does anyone know about similar experience and if the person was granted PR?
-Any other solution to this problem?

Please help.

Thanks,
Bram

When you order on GET GCMS after the payment, there is an info from which specifically asks if your spouse is in your application. If yes, you mention her details too. Based on what you enter, a filled in consent form is sent to you. If you are the only applicant, only you sign. If your spouse is also added to your file, she has to sign too in section B.

If you are having trouble you should contact GET GCMS team and they will guide you.

Dear Legalfalcon,

I have a question regarding the address history section.

I had moved from Canada to Middle east on 25-02-2014. I started from Canada on 25-02-2014 and landed in middle east on 26-02-2014. I went to Canada again in 2016 for a business visit and stayed there for 2.5 months.

I am not sure which address i am supposed to write on row 2 and row 5 (see list below) address section. I was travelling from Canada to Middle East on these dates.

# From To Address
1 01/05/2016 21/12/2016 Middle East Address
2 30/04/2016 01/05/2016 Travelling from Canada to Middle East
3 12/02/2016 30/04/2016 Canada Address
4 26/02/2014 12/02/2016 Middle East Address
5 25/02/2014 26/02/2014 Travelling from Canada to Middle East
6 01/10/2012 25/02/2014 Canada Address 1
7 08/08/2010 01/10/2012 Canada Address 2

Please help.

Many thanks & Kind Regards
Nick

You will need reference letters from your colleague who can say that your job description was what you claim. You can get this reference letters from former colleagues, supervisors in their personal capacity etc. Simply a HR letter with your self declaration will not be sufficient.

-Is this an acceptable proof of work for IRCC?
HR letter, self declaration, employment letter (if t gives out description of job duties are all valid proofs.)

-Does anyone know about similar experience and if the person was granted PR?
-Any other solution to this problem?

Please help.

Dear Legalfalcon,
Thank you for your kind reply. Please note that these travel dates are between reasonably long stays at Canada and Middle East. The thing is due to the difference in time zones, by the time I reach Middle East from Canada there is already a day`s difference. I was wondering if it is ok to have an end date on 30-04-2016 and the next start date be 01-05-2016. Please note that in other cases I am keeping the end date and start date of two consecutive addresses the same. For example, in row 5 the end date is 01/10/2012 and the start date in row 4 is also 01/10/2012 but in row 2 the end date is 30/04/2016 and the starts date in row 1 is 01/05/2016. Would this be an issue ?

Please note that this is for the address history section and not for the travel history section.

4 01/10/2012 25/02/2014 Canada Address 1
5 08/08/2010 01/10/2012 Canada Address 2

Sorry to bother you again. Thank you very much for your time and support.

Sorry to bother you again. Thank you very much for your time and support.
The reason why IRCC asks you for your travel and prior history is to confirm where you were and ensure that you were not involved in anything that would be detrimental to Canada's security. A day her and there does not make a difference at all, especially when you are changing time zones. What you need to make sure is that you don't leave any specific travel detail, it does not have to be precise, but should cover all places you have been to.

I would not spend too much time on this, just go ahead and use either Canadian dates or Middle East dates, be consistent. If you are adding a day, do it for all, if not, then skip for all. As regards the address, if you have an address where you started, put it in, if you don't, give a reference where you lived. However, if you have lived in a country for over a month, you should have the exact address. In a scenario, you don't, you can give the location, name of the place and as much information and provide an explanation in the letter of explanation.

Hope this helps!
