hello again legalfalcon,
i need your help,
as i said earlier i have interview at Indian visa office, they said to bring job reference letters, i already submitted reference letters online while eAPR, the interview is at very short notice of 3 days, its very difficult to get new and current leters from employers, though i will carry original letters which i already submitted, would there be any issue or refusal on this basis, AOR on January 11,2017, copies of letters submitted on this date
thanks in advance

Hello Legalfalcon,

I have a query here. I have updated my EE profile with spouse ECA as 'Yes' Last week and got ITA yesterday Apr 19th.
I am anticipating my Spouse ECA by next week.
Since the PR application submission time is 90 days from today, I can update my spouse ECA details once received it.

Can anyone confirm, if the ECA issued date should be earlier than ITA date or before submitting PR documents date is sufficient?
Will this be taken into account and any chance for rejection
I am in the confused state whether to accept or decline the ITA.

your suggestion is most welcome!!

Hi legalfalcon I have submitted my eAPR on June 13,2016 including my dependents and I am still waiting the
final decision.I am working in Canada but right now I am on vacation in my home country.I will be back to Canada on 27 th April. So my question is am I allowed to carry the passport of my dependents to Canada?
Is there any problem to any countries especially in Canada immigration ?
Thanks in Advance
Rabin

Yes, you can carry your dependants passport subject to the laws of your country. Canada or IRCC has no objections. However, if your baggage is searched, you may have to justify why your are carrying additional passports. So make sure you also carry the birth certificates of your dependents, or some document to prove that they are your dependent and yyou have the right to carry their passports.

Hello LegalFalcon,

Do you know about the "PNP Secure Outstanding group" mentioned in the second pages GCMS notes? My GCMS notes say Medical, Criminality, Eligibility passed, Security and others are blank. It will 6 months for me on this 24th May since AOR.

PNP Secure Outstanding group - This refers to IRCC communication and waiting for a response from a Province that has issued you a PNP. While provinces are free to issue PNP, but IRCC can make objections to that and may ask for additional documentation from the province to justify their decision. It does not mean anything negative, but issues such as an applicants intent to settle in the province is usually the issue. It will delay your application a little, but soon you will see progress. Keep ordering GCMS notes on regular intervals.

Thanks Legalfalcon... So CIC would not check our SNIP OID Application which we submitted and compare with EE Profile details.

Thanks,
Leela.

These application ar dealt by different agencies. However, for the PNP if you did mention that you were employed, that is fine, but if you are not claiming points for it, there is nothing to worry. You should however include a Letter of Explanation when you submit your application.

New reference letters are not required. They need your old reference letters, as your application is locked the day you submit it. Take your old reference letters, and all supporting documents that you submitted. The interview will revolve around your job. They will ask you where you studied, the nature of your education, as in what id you learn and then about your job. They will try and access that the duties you have in your reference letter is what you are actually doing. You should also take any IT returns, pay stubs if you have them. Or old IT returns will also be helpful.

Usually the interviews are called for applicants when the IRCC cannot verify their details, or if they called your employed, they could not verify the reference letters and that is all they want to check. So be confident and calm in your interview. It will not last for more than 15-20 minutes. Do not be aggressive, just answer their questions, and if you do not understand their question, ask them to repeat or re-phrase it.

You have your education and based on that your job. You are the one who has done it, just just want to cross check. Read your reference letters and make sure that all the job descriptions listed is what you actually do or did. Also, make sure you have the details of your company, as in where you work, the address, the email, you should remember that as you use it on a regular basis. This is all that they will look into.

At the end you can ask them if there is any supporting document that would need. Sometimes, they may just ask you to leave your Passport there and you will get it back with the visa. So do not worry, just go with confidence and let me know how it goes.

All the best!

There is no requirement for the ECA date to be before the ITA date. However, it is advisable to have the ECA before you make the profile if you are claiming the points for education. However if you are sure of the evaluation, there is no need to worry as long as you have the ECA number before your file the application.

It's going to be much quicker if you call them. Both a CSE and Notes will take 30+ days.

You only need your EE number. There is no need for a UCI number to order your GCMS notes. But it will take 30-45 days to receive the notes.

The calls are received by call agents and not IRCC agents. They merely take down the message, sometimes the messages have transcription error. There is no guarantee that the phone call will get quicker results. The best way to communicate is by CSE or an email.

They do have access to more details than you think - including some notes on applications. It just might help to get a clearer picture while waiting for notes.

I am not disputing what you say. I find CSE and emails a more detailed way of communicating with the IRCC as compared to phone calls, which are difficult to get through, give little or no detail. No harm in trying though.
