Hi LegalFalcon,

First of all thank you for all your help on this forum. I have learnt a lot from your posts on this and other forums.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything via search. I received an ITA in the last draw. If am not able to complete the documents within the 90 day window I will have to decline the invitation. It's mostly the POF funds requirement I am concerned about. My question is: Once I click Continue Application and start preparing, is it still possible to Decline Invitation before the deadline? Or should I start preparing without taking any action on my profile and only click Continue Application once my application documents are ready?

Thank you.

Hello ,

Need some suggestion/advice.

I am primary applicant for PNP-O category, Indian citizen and residing in India. My wife (indian Citizen)is currently in Germany on Student visa.
We are yet waiting for PPR request but would like to know :-
* Do we both have to submit our passport together to VFS - New Delhi ?
* Can the primary applicant submit passport to VFS - New Delhi and my wife to VFS-Germany ?

Thanks in advance .

When you get the request for the PPR, immediately send an email to the if mentioned in the PPR, and let them know that you would like the PA to submit the PP at VFS Delhi and your wife to be allowed to submit her PP at Germany. They reply back in 1-2 weeks and there is no problem. A lot of people make such requests and that is entertained all the time. Make sure that in your request you mention that your wife is on a student visa in Germany and unable to send the PP to Delhi.

Hope this helps!

When you get your GCMS notes you will be able to see what is going on in your file.

All the best and than you for using the services from GET GCMS.

Though I am not sure what issue with PoF you are facing. But you can decline the ITA anytime even if you have clicked on continue with the application. In a scenario that you cannot find an express place to click to decline, send a CSE https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx, expressing your intent to decline the ITA.

Hope this helps!

Dear LegalFalcon,
while submitting passport, how to count the deadline? Is it they day we submit the passport to VFS/Post or the day passport received by them?

Hi LegalFalcon,

Some advice needed. I have been adviced (on other forums) that a 6 months bank statements from one of my accounts with the funds is sufficient (as UK banks wont write letters).

I have:

- My savings statement showing transactions and balance in last 6 months from September 2016
- This has my details, accounts numbers and of letterheaded paper
- The Bank have stamped it with their stamp to verify. THe bank employee also signed and dated it in the branch to verify
- I am also going to include additional statements for that account which show a greater history greater than 6 months, so it gives them greater overview (explained in LOE)

Is this okay? also I wasn't going to be showing any other banks records e.g. what my salary Is paid into as this one account shows enough funds over 6 months and longer for me.

your advice is appreciated.

It is the day when the passport is received by the VFS. In an eventuality that you are delayed in sending the passport for any justified reason, send an email at the id in the PPR and request them to accept the PP.

If the bank refuses to issue a reference letter, the above mentioned documents would be sufficient. However, I would advise that you draft a self declaration and get it notarized which acknowledges that you have no encumbrance on the funds in the bank account you are providing, have no loans from the bank, and that the statement attached to the affidavit is true and correct.

In the LoE explain the circumstances and all these documents together will be sufficient. Alternatively, you can also transfer your funds to a fixed deposit / CD for 6 months - 1 year and use that certificate as a PoF.

Hope this helps!

Hello Legalfalcon,
One of my suggested to approach you for a suggestion.

I am ready to create EE profile by this weekend as we received my WES and IELTS scores. As my husband got less score in IELTS and when we calculate in CRS tool he is getting CRS score around 390 by keeping me as secondary applicant and when he make me as a primary applicant score is going upto 424 and there is a great chance of getting ITA in next draw (fingers cross)

problem here is i use to work as business Analyst from 2009 to 2013 and now i am a home maker. i think i can be as primary applicant as i have 4 years of work experience and to prove my work experience i have my offer letter, pay stubs and Reference letter which was taken to file H1B visa in the year 2014 but i dont have bank statement as i closed the bank account while i am moving back to delhi from pune.

Can any one suggest any idea to prove my work experience or offer letter, pay stubs and Reference letter are fine to prove my work experience.

Thanks,
Leela.

To prove your work experience if you can go back to the organization you worked, that would be ideal. If not, then you can show your work experience through secondary documents, like the pay stud, old reference letters, or former colleagues. As regards the PoF, you can have a joint bank account with your spouse and use that as the PoF.

Moving ahead you can create two profiles, one with your spouse as PA, and one where you are PA. Later depending on what you would like to move ahead with, you can delete one of the profiles.

Hope this helps!

Hello Legalfalcon,

I need help about one issue I found during review of my application,

I am submitting my PR application shortly, my query is,

In my temporary work permit application, My sisters name is accidentally not included by a third party consular service, my employer used to file temporary work permit and my mistake that I did not pay close attention before signing It.

Now that I am applying for PR, In family information form I am including my sisters name.
Will it cause any any problems, I mean can this be a reason of rejection of my PR application.

Can you please help me, as what I can do to get the information updated (to get my family member name added)

I request that you PM me only if the questions or details are personal, and cannot be posted on a public forum. If you put it on the thread, many other applicants can benefit from it.
