I applied for home childcare pilot in January 2021, got my AOR in may but I am now in Canada on visitor visa, can I apply for open work permit under the new public policy while waiting for IRRC response on my previous application. Someone should please advice. Thank you.

No of course not. This is for those on PGWPs and you are not eligible being on a visitor visa.

Yes there is. Ircc agent will give it to you if your process has begun.

Hi kikstaroxy, I also got my XW********* work permit application number when I inquired through phone, but my application is still on queue for review. Aor is still temporary. I was given 2 different UCI and 2 different PR application numbers too. but everything is still temporary.

I saw yadav in TR to PR groupchat. He also applied on that special pathway. Most of the applicants there are already with COPR (started May 6 this year). Then their open work permit is only within few weeks.
