Thanks for the reply - I have following educational and Job experience: - 82% in UG university B.Tech Chemical from Anna University No backlogs - Got placed in college itself since then got 5 years and 2 months of core Chemical Design Enng in relevant field - now applied for University of Regina for MASc Process System Engg and got offer letter with Fully eligible remarks and with 15000 CAN $ per year stipend for research and academics. No gaps in between, payed tax and filed ITRV for all five years and have good salary records in India - have submitted all my documents - what do i need more to satisfy them bit confused!

Coming week probably. Even i applied on 28th and medical got updated on 19th. Expecting the results on Monday or Tuesday.

hi guys ,

i m basically from aviation background but as my consultants told me to apply on mechanical i applied my visa on 22nd June but i got refusal on 16th July stated :''other reasons'' . my consultancy told me that the SOP u created was not satisfying . so i reapplied on July 22nd with better SOP but i haven't received my decision yet. anybody been through this or know anything about my situations please yr advice will be useful.

hey guys,
so i submitted my study permit on the 1st of August and still no updates..says visa being processed at the Canada Visa Office, BANGALORE. I applied for general category as a paper application.
i tried linking my account but I wasn't able to..
my visa consultant said I should get visa in 3 weeks but now its like the 5th week and still no updates..i can see through the forum that just now the last week of July applications are being updated. Does this mean I will get my update soon or is there some problem with my application?
Classes start next week and I don't know the status of my visa...so frustrating!.. kindly give your inputs..thnk u

Neil I'm facing issues linking my application online too, so i can completely know how you feel. Many 27th-28th July applicants are getting their passports in this week so you should expect next week I reckon, but since it's bangalore we cant predict anything, many august applicants got thru. Keep checking your status. Good luck.

I really need your help because i'm freaking out. Here's my full story.
I applied for my Study permit online via CIC website on the 5th of August 2016.
On the 6th of August, I received an email stating that my application has been updated, i went to check but i found nothing.
Anyways, in the country where i'm living, Lebanon, they do not need a medical result, or my biometrics.
When i applied (August 5), the processing time was 4 weeks, then it changed to 5 weekd and now its 6 weeks.
So i just want to know if you have any idea about my visa or id it will come soon.
My classes will start on the 6th and my final deadline is 19th of September.

Hope they would do something fast. :'(
