yes ofcourse, pregnant women dont really undergo xray.doctor ask first thing if patient is pregnant..
It is bad for the baby.and normally even f the woman says no,doc still does pregnancy test to make sure that it is safe to do xray.
Exactly like this!
Jules 78, they will still process the application without the X ray, the doctor will explain in his doc. why the examination is missing. I am not sure if they would issue the PR without the complete medical, I would say no, But this is only a guess, you may wish to call CIC and ask into this.

I know X-ray is bad for the baby, but I want to know from people's experience has your applications been approved for PR without an X-ray exam complete?

No X-Ray, no PR. It's as simple as that... They can defer the X-Ray but the application will not be completed until an X-Ray has been taken.

No - being pregnant does not make the processing faster. As explained by zardoz, the x-ray is mandatory. A PR application cannot be approved without one.

Yes, you can pay online. The CIC website has the details but I'll try and dig them out for you. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp points you at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

"Inland requires that the applicant be living in Canada with the sponsor. Outland allows the applicant to live anywhere - including inside Canada with the sponsor."

Hold the phone lol..I was going with an inland app. bc I thought I had to so my soon to-be spouse could reside with me. So, you are saying that even tho he will remain in Canada with me, we can still file as inland?? So we can reside in Canada, no restrictions on travel?? Does this effect applying for the OWP?

There's no OWP if you apply outland. OWP is only provided with inland applications.

Ok, so there goes the implied status so would have to seek an extension on his visit? How would he be able to remain in Canada with me for the duration of the inland process then?

There's no implied status with outland (I think you're asking about the outland process even though your message says "inland"). You would have to continue applying for extensions so that he can continue to remain in Canada legally if you decide to apply outland from within Canada.

If you apply inland, then you get the OWP and implied status, but also have to deal with the travel restriction (and no appeal in the event the application is refused).

Is there usually an issue applying for extensions? I am agaonizing over this bc I want to choose the best route to take; inland or outland. Plus we want to make sure that once he gets here we can remain together. Any advice? Please, I want to make sure we do this right.

I'll let someone else answer. Unfortunately I don't have any first hand-experience.

It seems complicated to order GCMS notes, but only at the 1st time. Your spouse (sponsored person) has to fill out and sign the form IMM5744: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf , which is the consent to access to information, if he/she is not currently living with you she has to scan it and email it to you. That is the 1st step.
Then you'll fill out the order online using the following link: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en and click on the box at the bottom of the page where it says Continue.
