Hello,

I work at CBC, currently working on a story on delays in processing inland spousal sponsorship. Is anyone on this forum currently without medical coverage while waiting for approval in principle, or the first stage of sponsorship to be completed? If so, would you send me a personal message to Enza.Uda @ cbc.ca?

I'm also trying to reach screech339. I'd like to know more about the spreadsheet compiled -- 2012 Inland Applicant. Please email me as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Enza

Hopefully this is legitimate and people reply.

hi all, i am new to this forum..
please read my sad story.....

i got married in aug 30th 2013.my husband is in canada and now i am in india. my husband applied for spousal work permit on feb 17th 2014. but my application has been refused on march 27th 2014. now my current status in the cic account shows that process closed and has been refused. but my agent was informed that, the will send a letter regarding the reason(s). but it has become 10 days.till this date i haven't received any letter or email. no any way to know the reason.when will i get the letter?whether it is regular mail or via courier?
we are planning to reapply.
is there any chance for fetting the work permit. whether the first refusal will adversly affect the second application.

if anyone faced the same situation please reply me.........i am so disapponited.....please help me..........please

You're posting to the wrong section of the forum. You need to post to the Foreign Workers section of this forum. The section you are posting in now is for Canadians who are sponsoring family members for PR.

Although you are posting in the wrong section of the forum, I will try to point you in why you may have been refused. This is just based on assumptions as you did not post the full story as to when your husband applied/or landed in Canada. Based on the quick refusal I would assume that your husband applied as single, got married, did not inform CIC of his marriage, got his visa, came to Canada, applied for your permit. If my assumption is correct he will not be able to sponsor you under a dependent work permit and even possibly in the future under family sponsorship. Also if my assumption is correct he is in jeopardy of losing his permit and is now at risk of being removed from Canada for misrepresentation.

just want to ask after getting the PR visa i can sponsor my siblings already or do i need to wait my citizenship to do that?

Neither PRs nor citizens can sponsor siblings under family class.

Can only sponsor a sibling if you have no family at all living in Canada, and no living parents anywhere in the world.

@Rob_TO thanks for replying. Can i sponsor the parents?

Not this year because the quota has been reached. Possibly next year if you meet the income requirements.

In January 2015 the parents program should open again until the quota is reached. To apply in 2015, you will need to show Canadian income tax forms for 2011, 2012 and 2013, that all meet the LICO amount for parents/family size.

Also your siblings can only be included in a parents application, if they meet the definition of dependent as of the date you submit the application.

Hi guys. Ca someone please suggest a good immigration consultant / lawyer in Dubai? I know i dont necessarily need one but i could really use your input.
Thank you

Hi! Got email from cem requesting for my RPRF.my husband (sponsor) sent me the receipt indicated that he paid 550 $..isn't this is the one?if not, how he will paid for it and jow many weeks of processing? Thank you

Good day. I am new to this forum, but have been scouting here for a while.

I am planning to sponsor my pregnant wife to Canada from Russia, however i wondered if, after submitting a package for Family Sponsorship, can she apply for Visitor's visa and stay here with me and wait for delivery and PR status?? How realistic is that? Is there a high chance that her Visitor's visa will get rejected?

Thanks for the insight

hi sis gloryheart..if the CEM sent request about RPRF then that receipt of 550$ is the application fee and not RPRF..

Hello... Just noticed I didn't put 'sponsorship spouse' on my envelope when I sent my papers and I don't think I put the 'barcode' on top of my form.
Is this really bad?
You can tell i'm getting a bit stressed out now :-[
