hello!

I am just about to send my application off to the mississauga office !

Where do I specify that it is an outland (outside of Canada application)

I want to apply outland and my partner is from Korea so the processing office is in Manilla... where do I specify this?

Thank you !
Yes, put OUTLAND SPOUSAL clearly on the envelope. The address you send it to is different from inland applications.

Where can I find that address?

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

is this it?

I was told that there will be a question asking which visa office you want to process the application in the outland application package.. but cant seem to find it ..

Does anyone happen to know what form you indicate which visa office to process your application?

I am using the outland application package but cant seem to find the question where it asks which visa office will process the app ...

Hello all

Finally, I've just sent out the application by courier today (15 Jan). Should reach Mississauga by Monday 18 Jan due to weekend. *fingers crossed* ;D

Just a quick question - In what order does one put the India Information guide and document checklist?

Cheers!

Was it necessary to spam this question on every thread? I'm glad you got your application in though, good luck.

Has anyone on this thread used Canada Post for a successful delivery to Mississauga?

Of course I have heard the horror stories of items being mislaid etc, but am keen to know if anyone can confirm successful delivery to CPC Mississauga using Canada Post?

(FYI - I sent my application from Australia in late November 2015, via Registered Post, but have heard nothing).

Cheers

I've used Canada Post XpressPost and it was successfully delivered. I've used this service a lot for other documents to other agencies too and it has never failed me ever (5 years in Canada).

This is the part of the email we received from Havana

At the interview, you should submit recent evidence to prove that your spousal relationship with your sponsor is genuine and still ongoing. Such evidence may include:

i. Correspondence between you and your sponsor such as: letters with their original post-marked envelopes, printouts of e-mail messages, chat records, faxes, etc. (whatever has not been submitted yet).

ii. Telephone bills indicating calls between you and your sponsor (whichever has not been submitted yet). DO NOT submit phone cards, unless accompanied by an itemized statement from the phone-card company.

iii. Photographs of you and your sponsor together, (whichever has not been submitted yet). The photographs must be printed. DO NOT bring photographs in electronic devices such as CD's or USB memories.

iv. Evidence of financial support between you and your sponsor (whatever has not been submitted yet).

v. Any other evidence that you would like the immigration officer to consider and that might be useful to demonstrate the genuineness of your relationship with your sponsor.

The day of the interview, you should arrive at least 5 min in advance. At the Immigration gate, you will explain that he has an appointment for an interview. Please remember you must bring your passport and your dependent`s passports, if applied.

Please confirm your attendance by replying to this email.

Cordially,

Immigration Section

It depends on what specific concerns CIC has about the app. It can be as short as a half hour or it could take a few hours.

Hi, I need some help regarding spousal sponsorship. I want to file PR for my husband who is in India. So i plan to do it by the end of January 2016 when i get all the documents from him and after that i am planning to apply visitor visa for him as he wants to visit me in Mid February on our first anniversary.

First anniversary seems a good reason and I will try to show good ties to India and that he will not overstay. Could anyone please suggest if its a good idea to do this?

Thanks for the help in advance...

Sure - you can certainly try applying for the TRV. However none of us can tell you if it will be approved or not.

Thanks Scylla!! I really appreciate the way people in this group help you out.

Yeah even i am apprehensive that it can go either way.. bt do u think if TRV gets rejected, it would affect my sponsorship??
