Thanks guys..my background in still not started and i am being asked to submit medical within 30 days.i hope thats a good sign.my medical went from passed to review in progress.

are you aware that up until december 2015, CIC used to list processing times by visa office rather than residency? they even had data sets to show exact performance figures (apps in backlog, apps approved, apps pending, etc) over at their open data portal which i used to check regularly. their rationale for moving away from displaying stats by visa office is that they now have the ability to process applications at any visa office around the world in order to "maximize efficiency". yet oddly enough, sponsorship applications for pakistani families always seem to end up at LVO regardless of where the principal applicants are residing.

so with all that said, there's no arguing that the most significant factor in application processing time is the visa office, and that brings us to another question: what's the average processing time for LVO?

Are you aware that in depth reading of CIC website can merely impact your blogging skills but it doesn't make you an official agent working for Citizenship and Immigration Canada? You are free to believe in whatever notion you want to but don't sell your perception as CIC Laws. At the end of the day information provided by the staff directly working for Immigration Canada is "officially valid" ONLY and rest is just speculation.

I sent FBI report to LVO 1 month ago and today i got email reply that they have not received it. Alongwith that they said they have verified all documents i submitted with sponsorship application........so what does this VERIFIED means i.e. eligibility or what?

Can you check through your courier, that who received it at LVO? did u also send it through web?

Courier showing delivered in United Kingdom. Anyways tomorrow morning will check with their main office.

Alhamdulilah ! Just received my passport from VFS yesterday.

Passport submitted in VFS Abu DHabi on 30/10/2016.
COPR received on 08/11/2016.
