SOWP - November applicants from India

Hii guys, my friend applied online on 23 December and he got medical on 23 February...

I applied for sowp at Bangalore vfs @ jan 10. Was a paper application.its showing my appln is being processed at Canada visa office,Bangalore..time s really killing..

Just sharing my timeline for SOWP application, Applied in Dec though!

Online Application - on 30.12.2014 ( Applied within Canada while spouse in India)
Spouse has 2 previous visa rejections both student and visitor.No representative was used

Medical Request- on Jan 10th 2015
Medical Passed Medicals Done - on Jan 20th
Medicals Passed - on February 4th 2015
Passport Request - February 15th
Passport Submitted - February 19th
Visa Approval - February 26th

The Application was petty simple, uploaded the required forms - added additional documents as a single
pdf at the explanation letter tab (both mine and husbands)

Gre8... Congrats.. Can you kindly help us with more information..u have study visa? Or pgwp? The visa u have applied is work permit visa.. What additional documents u have added to make this time successful

I got it approved yest...got mail from vfs that my passport is dispatched from visa office..
and my consultant received an approval mail from Canada visa office... Today I collected passport ifrom VFS Bangalore...at last got it..I m so happy.. All the best for u guys.... Don't worry u lol get it soon..

Hi I put my wife SOWP visa in new delhi embassy on 15 feb 2015, I have not heard anything from them. make me nervous,, i did online application . can you tell me how much days it will take usually?

Hey guys I applied on 22nd January with all documents n a passport .. n received email today saying ur passport has been dispatched from Canada visa application center and application has been processed so any idea do they write approved or rejected evry time ??

Hi guys

I applied open work permit based on my husband . He is student in one of the international collage.

I applied on Feb 20 and I got passport request two days ago.

This is my third application through online. My first two applications got rejected which I applied through Vfs

Hello heema what kind of mail they do when they reject? Do they mention rejected or approved ?? Or just that ur application is processed? ??

Usually when it is rejected u get ur passport has been dispatched.. 90% it got rejected ..10% there is chance of approval..have u done your medicals
