3. Yes. Would warn you that permits/visas are not guaranteed for families of international students. If approved they will need special permission to travel at the moment.
I just read here that "Visa offices processing temporary residence applications made outside Canada by minor children who want to study in Canada should consider them as students and not as visitors, even when they are accompanying a parent who is authorized to either work or study in Canada. In other words, a study permit is required, unless they are exempt from requiring one pursuant to section R188."

I have submitted my Passport for Spouse open work permit on sep 26th 2020 in Sydney office. I have some queries such as 1. How many days will take for stamping. 2. My spouse's permit till 11th November 2020. Currently I am living in Melbourne Australia so can i travel to Canada before expiring my visas. I have Job offer letter as well

Hi, My study permit is valid till 31-Aug-2021, but my course is getting over by 30-Dec-2020. Is it advisable to apply for SOWP now. Thanks,
How did you get a SOWP if your partner’s permit expires on November 20? What
permit does your spouse have? Makes no sense to relocate to work for 1-2 months.
What is the course completion date mentioned in the acceptance letter or offer letter provided by College? If it is Apr or May 2021, I think you can still apply for SOWP as you still have 8 more months for your visa expiry.
Course completion date is 30-Dec-2020, but study permit is valid till 30-Aug-2021
I am almost in a similar situation my program is ending in Dec 2020. My course completion is mentioned as May 2021, accordingly my study permit is valid till Aug 2021.
Hi Manpreet, thanks for continuous update. I had a question. My husband is started his course online and will be travelling in Jan . We are thinking of applying SOWP for me now so that I can travel with him. I guess you are also in same situation. If possible could you share your LOE/SOE please. It will be of great help.
