How much time it takes generally to process a paper application. I applied in first week of July at Vfs Delhi and recently linked it online. Can any1 give an estimate because the processing times keeps on changing. Can i contact anywhere to get the update about my status ?

Current processing time is 14 weeks so you fall in that.
If the processing time is passed then you can send CSE.

I applied June 1st and got it last week (linked application approval). and this week the actual Permit. Add a month to that and you will have your indication

Application Date : July 12 2016
Application Location : Toronto, Canada
Spouse location : India
Medical : Upfront ( Passed)
Result : Visa Approved - Passport Received -09/28/2016
My job NOC classification : A

Hi friends ,
I am facing different case here.I got my SINP nomination in May 2016 and I applied for Work permit on based of SINP in the first week of July 2016.
I applied online and its been 13 weeks and i never heard anything from CIC regarding any inquiry or medical request.So my concern is that is anybody here in same situation as mine ? and how long it'll take them to finalize the application ? My application will be processed at Chandigarh I guess ?

I've applied for SOWP from Ahmadabad on Aug 16. My passport status has changed today from " Your application is being processed at VFS Bangalore' to "Passport has been collected from the Canada Visa Application Center". What does it mean ? If anybody knows here. Thanks for your time.

I think its generally indicate when passport going to return.Do you submit your medical before or not?
If yes then good news and if not then might be bad news.

Hi all
I am going to apply for an open work prmit for my wife. We got married last year . I was studying atvghat time and she applied for a visitor visa but got refused. After 1 year 3 months she is going to apply for open work permit. She is working as a software engineer since 2012 in india. I am working in noc 2281 B . My annual salary is 35100 cad.
Please let me know the required documents i need to fill and supportive documenta i need to attach.

Is my annual income suffecient?

please all help me out ,i am going to apply my student visa for April intake of my 2 year diploma in oct,i want to apply and add my spouse too

,i am confuse what to do should i apply in my application as a temporary resident visa or should i apply separate application for open work permit as he needs to work the time i will be studying there if i get the study permit. please help me out

and also if i will apply owp for my spouse being my student application ,should i submit my spouse bank statements and stubs too with ielts or academic degrees ?? or my statement showing 10k cad and 4k cad dollar in my statement is enough ,also i have my sponsor for college fees my bro will take care of my fees..we both applying first time outside canada from our home country.paper base application

I've got good news and would like to share with all of you guys. My paper based application for SOWP approved in relatively short period of time (I didn't expected that fast)

Application Date : August 16 2016
Application Location : Ahmadabad, India ( However my application processed at Bangalore VFS)
Medical : Upfront ( Passed)
Result : Visa Approved on Sep 29/2016
My job NOC classification : B ( Chemical Analyst)
Funds : $28000 in Canadian Bank And 6 Lakhs INR in Indian bank

I did paper application through immigration agent in India so i dont have account online on cic so i cannot check. Please let me know. Finger crossed.

Who is your immigration lawyer from India? Can you share your lawyer name?

Rao Oversea Ahmedabad.
I would suggest never go to this Overseas. Literally bunch of dumb ass there. They will keep asking you new docs each day you make visit instead asking all at once because they are not knowledgeable and do wok same like doing in Govt job. No customer service at all. It was just terrible experience!!!

Same like me and I need to remind them which documents were remain in file etc etc. They took more then 1 month to prepare whole file. Hope we get good response.
