In SINP application, in the education section for degree, the name of the institution has been asked for.
Do we enter the name of the college or the university.

Will be grateful if someone could shed light on this.

Thanks in advance.

I am preparing my documents for SINP EE. For Proof of funds I plan to submit four recent ICICI monthly bank statements for the last 4 months which shows adequate funds.
  1. Is it sufficient to provide monthly bank statements for the latest three/four months if it shows adequate balance ?
  2. Should the amount I mention in 'Schedule 4' Funds section match exactly with the balance in the Bank Statement or can I just show a lower amount adequate to meet the requirement ? (eg: If bank balance shows $50,000, the requirement for three people is $18,617, can $30,000 be mentioned in the 'Schedule 4' Funds section?)
  3. The Bank Statements are in INR, is it sufficient to submit as is or do I need some statement that indicates the CN$ equivalent ?
  4. If so what is the acceptable document that can be used to show the CN$ value for funds in Bank Statement ?
Please advise, thanks.

In the Generic Application ( IMM0008ENU ) there is a text box for "intended occupation".

Since I do not have a job offer in Canada, what should be mentioned here as "intended occupation" ? 'Manager' or 'Sales' or 'Sales Manager' or ????. Please advise, thanks.

  1. Is it sufficient to provide monthly bank statements for the latest three/four months if it shows adequate balance ? I would recommend demonstrating account balance statement for at least 6 months to avoid any audit. They might think you have temporarily borrowed money from some relative. It would safer to show 6 months that way.
  2. Should the amount I mention in 'Schedule 4' Funds section match exactly with the balance in the Bank Statement or can I just show a lower amount adequate to meet the requirement ? (eg: If bank balance shows $50,000, the requirement for three people is $18,617, can $30,000 be mentioned in the 'Schedule 4' Funds section?) Show entire $50,00. More the better. Also, if their threshold for minimum funds requirement changes in future plus variations in currency conversion rate, you are covered.
  3. The Bank Statements are in INR, is it sufficient to submit as is or do I need some statement that indicates the CN$ equivalent ? Submit your documentation as is so they may apply the effective rate at the time of their assessment. I just showed my FD in INR currency and there were no issues.
  4. If so what is the acceptable document that can be used to show the CN$ value for funds in Bank Statement ? See #3.
Please advise, thanks.

Point-1. Yes with bank stamp on it.
Point-2.No you have to prove that you have sufficient amount funds acc. to. the no. of applicants.
Point3.While uploading the statements you will encounter a screen where you have to update the conversions to Cad$.

Good Luck!

I am trying to apply for the SINP Express Entry, but I am confused about the kind of NOC I can claim in the Federal EE and the SINP EE. Under the SINP, as a PhD student at the University of Saskatchewan I can claim work experience as “Biological Scientist” which is on the OID list which will be in addition to my foreign work experience as and “Administrative/HR officer”. However, in my Federal EE profile I can not claim points for my work during my PhD studies as work experience but only my foreign work experience. So, my question is that whether the NOC I use in my SINP must be the same as the NOC in the Federal EE? Or they can be different?
Thank you
