Hello everyone,

I was recently rejected for the SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) in May 2024 due to the selection of an incorrect NOC code—specifically, 41300 (Social Workers)—under the Occupation In-Demand category (without an employment offer).

Now, I have started the SINP process in my spouse's name. She scored an overall 6.5 bands in the IELTS exam. She holds a doctorate in the field of social work and currently has 12 years of teaching experience at a social work college in India.

However, my immigration agent has informed me that applying under my spouse’s name may not be possible because her documents were already uploaded in my previous (rejected) application as a dependent.

Is this information correct, or is my immigration agent possibly misguiding me about my spouse’s SINP eligibility?

I kindly request your guidance on the proper procedure.

Thank you,
Maintaining your septic system is essential to avoid costly repairs and protect your property. One key aspect of proper care is understanding how to maintain your septic system through routine actions. Pump your tank every 3–5 years, depending on household size and usage. Avoid flushing non-biodegradable items, grease, or harsh chemicals down the drain. Use water efficiently to reduce system overload. Keep heavy vehicles off the drain field to prevent damage. Regular inspections by a professional can help catch problems early and ensure long-term system health.
Yes, your spouse can apply under her name for the SINP, even if she was previously listed as a dependent on your application. The fact that her documents were used in your past application does not disqualify her. However, only one SINP application per person can be active at a time, so ensure your previous application is officially closed or withdrawn before submitting a new one under her name. It sounds like your immigration agent may be misinformed or misguiding you, consider seeking a second opinion from a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer.
