Below is the mail.

Thank you for your email.

To summarize how points were calculated in your application:
23 points – Master’s of Computer Applications.
0 points – Work Experience in Last 5 years.
0 points – 1 year, 3 months of work experience in past 6-10 years.
20 points – CLB 8.
10 points – Age 38.
TOTAL: 53 points – does not meet the required 60 out of 100 points.

Your Intended Occupation NOC was “NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants”. For your work experience from XXXX, you advised that you cannot get a letter of work experience from your employer, and provided a reference from your colleague instead. This was not accepted, as it does not meet work experience requirements.
Why is your timeline?

To understand on how they calculated those points, he can send mail. They will reply back within 2 working days. The same thing happened to me (They calculated my points to be less than 60) and I wrote a mail to them seeking explanation. Only after seeing their reply I came to know that they didn't accept my reference letter and hence I was not able to claim those crucial points.

Sending mail on clarifications is wise rather than going for 2nd review. It's my opinion.
Perfect!

Hi guys!

When people submit eAPR to IRCC, do they (IRCC) later request originals of any documents (for instance originals of letters of reference)?

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding POF, When I submitted my application in May, the exchange rate for my country's currency was 154 to the CAD now our currency has been devalued and it is now 218 to the CAD.

I had enough money in my account to cover the requested funds at the previous exchange rate but based on the current exchange rate, I will be below the requested funds for February and March. Will this affect my application as I am not sure how they do the conversions.

They requested additional documents from me yesterday but nothing was said about my POF.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi! They normally convert POF at the exchange rate in affect on the date of submittion of the profile. Later fluctuations of curencies don't matter. So if you had enough POF in May at the exchange rate of 154, no need to worry.

This is a dangerous situation, and don't take risk. You are from fast changing Currency rate country, so you should deposit @400 currency unit = 1 CAD now and fill again the Application when next intake will open OCT/Nov. 2016, and after that withdraw the previous one. This is the safest way. I tried this and got success.

No dear. They convert the money at the rate of that day's CAD rate, which day they open your application for working. I have the experience, my CAD 25294 of Jan. 16, on 28 Apr. was 22066 (Near to border limit).

For me they converted based on submission date for both applications (Jan 4th and May 18th).
