Yes it is true, people that entered in the cap were notified earlier, in my case the refusal letter took more time...

Last year your application was submitted successfully and later they informed you that the cap was reached and you are out of it? Or else, what as the reason of that refusal ?

In that occasion, the system allowed you to submit your application without any warning they opened the system on January 2 at 10:00 am and I submitted
my application on January 3 at 8:30 am.

Two weeks later they informed me that my application did not get into the intake threshold...

I hope this time we have a better luck since we applied very early and there was not a warning message of the system.

Let's wait and see...

I personally think that we'll be seeing people get confirmation emails starting this week, next week tops. The first EE draw will be by the end of the month, so I guess that by that time, all 500 that made into the cap (myself included, hopefully), will have confirmation, at least, that they got accepted. Nomination itself, might take a little longer, but as it's mandatory for EE, I'm pretty sure they'll speed up the process so people wont just float around on the pool. After all, no other province has already finished it's process for people without job offers. We might be first in line

Let me clear one thing. If u will receive nomination directly from SINP here out of 500 application, u didn't require to apply under EE. U need to directly apply to CIO with nomination letter. It is also mention as two step process under application procedure.

1000 SINP nomination through EE is different process.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

I cleaned up this column since nobody has received any confirmation from SINP yet. it is too soon you need to wait
for at least two weeks...

But last year the system was not closed and continued to accept submitted applications, and some accepted applications were later refused due to cap reached. This year the system was closed after an hour and applicants were unable to submitt the applications.

The SINP application database electronically logged applications submitted to the International Skilled Worker category in the order of which they were submitted. The first 500 applications have been received and will be reviewed for compliance with the criteria of the category.

It seems, system had stopped receiving any further applications after 500. (Last year, it was open for a long period).

ABOUT AOR:

Friends,

As I know SINP changed its working procedure and they updated their "Procedural Guidelines" on September 2014. You can download and read the file here:

As you can see in Part I - Submitting an Application, they mentioned, "Once the application is submitted, you will receive no further notifications about your application until it is pre-screened."

Then it means you won't get your AOR until they finish their pre-screen stage. And it means it might take two weeks, one month, two months or more for you to receive your AOR!!!

Then don't hurry up and just sit down an relax and enjoy your Waiting game!!! ;D
