Have you considered asking for GCMS notes.

That will be my next step if I don't get any update by end of this week

GCMS notes are taking upto 3 months

The best option at this stage is to request for your GCMS notes.

@stevogooner I think we are in the same boat. I applied from Nigeria in september, 2022. No response yet.

oh man that sucks. Where are you applying from? Have you checked from IRCC website regarding the processing timeframe of your country?

We submitted on Dec 21, also from outside Canada - medical exam passed Jan 16 and no update after that.

Where did you apply from? Hope you git a decision now?

Medical passed Jan 11..no more update since then as well.

We are in same shoes. Work permit submitted 19th December. Passed medical 11th January. Stuck on back chk since then. How about you?

Hi, can anyone help answer?

I had an approved ETA, I applied around a year ago to visit but I couldn't materialise my trip.


Now I have got a work permit that includes a new ETA number. My old ETA is cancelled due to obvious reasons, and it says you should not travel to Canada ....

But I am unable to understand and check my new ETA status ..Status check webpage suggested "no record found".

As for me, Biometric & Eligibility completed. Background Check in progress. Medical Not yet started. All these were displayed on my tracker. For those that their medical was completed, did it show on your tracker or gckey?.

Mine says Medicaid completed but eligibility not started. BC in progress as well. I guess you didn’t do upfront Medicals right?
