HCCP (Home child care Pilot) 2022 Applicant

Hi, my sister applied for the HCCP on Jan 2022 and got her work permit back in Sep 2024. She came to Canada on Dec 2024. Gained her 6 months experience in June 2025 and have applied for the PR on July 2025. Since then, nothing has changed in her application or file. Is there anyone out there with the similar situation..?? Do anyone know the estimated timeline for 2022 Applicant..?? The IRCC processing time shows 26 months left....is this for real..??

If she applied for PR in July 2025 would that not be 83 months? Yes times are real. Caregiver program is not a priority as there are probably around 14k ahead of you and over 30k in the pool

July 2025 would be 43 months from the day she applied for the HCCP program. Yeah, I see, it says - there are 12,300 people ahead of you and 39,300 people waiting. This is unfortunate but I agree, they have deprioritized this program and kept all the applicant in a very odd situation. Hope IRCC gets their act right and help all these people soon.

July 2025 would be 43 months from the day she applied for the HCCP program. Yeah, I see, it says - there are 12,300 people ahead of you and 39,300 people waiting. This is unfortunate but I agree, they have deprioritized this program and kept all the applicant in a very odd situation. Hope IRCC gets their act right and help all these people soon.

It is based today's processing time not when she submitted. It is updated weekly.
