Hello everyone. haven't posted on this forum in a while.

I applied in September. Application received on September 15th 2020.

ECAS still says application received. Email (in response of a web form enquiry), says application was received by CPC Sydney NS on the same date as
mentioned above.

I was starting to get worried since their website says they are sending AORs to November candidates. My friends who applied quite some time after me also received their AORs.

Glad I stumbled upon this forum to see people's ecas is now starting to change.

Anyone else from September still awaiting AOR or an ECAS status change ?

Lots of people didn't get AOR email (they are either delayed to be sent by email or arriving by mail). Call IRCC to get your application number, and make sure to ask them to send all correspondence by email and not mail.

Here is my status:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 30, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 22, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on February 19, 2021.

I have not received the AOR email/letter and the study book. Though I am not too worried about the book as I had already ordered it online (for free), and they delivered it recently. And, who cares abt the AOR when the application is already in "In-Process" state.

Why do you think it would be returned? Unfortunately, AORs are patchy in that not everyone gets them. But if you are eligible, followed the application guide, paid the fees, etc then there is no reason your application would be returned. Give it time!

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 23, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on February 16, 2021.

I applied with my 3 kids and all received e-AOR earlier this month. I myself however never received an AOR neither in the mail nor by email.

If the application is "In Process", that means all the needed documents are there and they will not return it? Or they may still return it for incomplete documents?
