Sending passport from USA to Canada

Hi guys,
I received my passport request today. Living in US with an Indian passport. I am asked to send both my wife's and my passports to Ottawa. After reading the discussion here, I am convinced to send the Indian passport to Canada from US. My questions is, do I need to put both mine and my spouse's passports together as one package?

Passport recieved by Ottawa CPC on 29th Sep 2022
No updates untill October 13,2022
PR approved on Oct 13,2022 on the account
Email confirmation today Oct 14,2022
Passport on the way and should reach by Monday 17th Oct!

Lessons.
1. Follow this thread diligently. Read through all posts. There are couple of posts detailing step by step procedure to follow while sending the passport, photos, annex A and return envelope to Ottawa CPC from USA.
2. Use fedex and it is seamless.
3. Sign on the commercial invoice (both onward and return) to be safe.

Thanks for this post. My passport was delivered on Oct 17, a few days after yours.
When did your CIC status change to "Your application was approved"?
From some posts here, it may take like a week for it to get activated. I think sometime this week it should happen.

Nov 2: Passport and CoPR received.
