Second Wife Sponsorship after Divorce

Same situation,
I sponsor my ex husband (he’s in PH,i’m in CA) 2 years ago but I withdraw the application (financial and economic abuse) before he get his permanent residency and he didn’t even get here in CA. Divorced.
Can i sponsor my new partner now or should i wait for 5years ? we’re living together here in Canada.

You do not need to wait, your ex husband was not sponsored (you only applied but withdrew that application).

Given they will have that previous information, you do need to make sure that evidence of your current relationship is strong.

One note, I believe there is a question in there about whether any previous sponsorships - I'd attach a letter of explanation that you had applied to sponsor but that application was withdrawn.
