Hello Experts

Is there anyone with NOC 2173? I found that this NOC requires licensing which in turn requires 1 year processing time. This seems ridiculous.

It's probably why Sask asked to submit proof of eligibility for that licensing not the actual license.

NOC1111 also has the same constraint but i aint gon let it stop me, i've initiated moves towards getting CPA membership which is a precursor to licensing.

About the licenses the website (http://www.apegs.ca/Portal/Pages/international-engineering-graduates) clearly says -

For people who want to apply for SINP, they require the approval letter showing that you are currently an engineer-in-training. Therefore, you must apply with APEGS first, complete the process required to obtain membership and wait for the approval letter. APEGS cannot provide a letter indicating that you are eligible to obtain a license. The only way to demonstrate eligibility is to actually apply and obtain your engineer-in-training license.

After application done, will they provide any such doc which will demonstrate that i have applied for license, so that I can at least upload a doc in SINP? Anybody please help to understand...

I am asking this because it seems to me every single hour number of application is increasing towards 1000 cap. Needless to say by the time my license will be in my hand 1000 cap will be filled.

Its not 3 years. By the time they process application, i won't think it will be 3 years then also. Count it as 2 years. How many points you will have even after counting 2 years only?

Please help

I score 55 points without job experience. Language 20 + age 12 + education 23

I need 6 points for my experience

In last 5 years I have 2 years of experience in 6221 which is in-demand. Other 2 years is in 0601, which is not in-demand

Am I eligible? Or I gain points only for experience in occupation in-demand? In this case I have 59 points which is not enough

Hi,

I am new to this forum. A major question I have.

I have a profile with Express Entry and my score is 460. I am waiting for the draw. Can I apply besides for the Saskatchwan PNP as well !?

Can these be at the same time !? Or I can not apply and need to wait for the draw !?

It would be a pleasure if you could let me know ASAP.

You can do both simultaneously. After you apply you have to wait for 6 months while they review your application.

If you receive ITA during this time, you can forget about your application for SINP.

In my opinion you have no need to waste your time to apply for SINP. With 460 points you'll get ITA in the nearest future

Hi all! Are we required to submit all supporting documents already including employment records, etc when we apply for sinp?
Hope someone can advise.
Many thanks!

I would recommend you apply to SINP or any other provincial nominee program you find you are eligible for. The lowest CRS score has gone is 453 and its been only once. I do believe that with score of 460, you will get nomination in near future but its better is you apply to PNP.

Agree with this. If somehow you get ITA before getting nominated, you can withdraw your SINP application.

Experts

anybody can help on below query? In the licensing url (http://www.apegs.ca/Portal/Pages/international-engineering-graduates), it has been mentioned that we need "World Education Services ICAP document-by-document assessment". In this case will the WES CIC assessment doc work? If no, then how to order the ICAP doc by doc assessment? Asking because when i go to the WES website from above url, WES website gives me below options -

Add new courses and my final degree
Add new courses but i have not received my final degree
Add another credential
Upgrade from a doc-by-doc to a course-by-course evaluation

I thought it should be "Upgrade from a doc-by-doc to a course-by-course evaluation" but then found I need ICAP document-by-document assessment. Did anybody order this (ICAP document-by-document assessment) before in WES? Please! Help me!!

Thanks in adv.

If I count my Work experience as 2 years, I am at 59. With 3 years, I come to 61 passing the minimum requirement of 60 points. Any suggestions ?

I have similar situation. Because my experience in NOC which is in-demand falls from 2009 to 2012. It's three years but not in last 5 years, because first year of my experience does not belong to last 5 years. So I cannot count it as 6 points? Or maybe I can? It was permanent job in one company
