CoRP just came with the mail.

It is actually a bit anti-climatic. The PPR was the most exciting part for me.

@ Belle - the CoRP isn't pretty! We just got two legal sized papers with some printing. It is actually kind of boring. Is it the counterfoil in the passport that is the pretty part? We don't get one.

How did they send you the PPR? Mail, email or visible on ECAS?

Today got an email from Rome saying visa has been finalized and will be mailed to me.I contacted the prepaid courier and they said I ll have it in my hand next week So happy! ECAS also changed to Decision Made

Thnx MarVan! How is everything going on with your app? I have no idea if it is possible. In the email that they send they said that you need to mail the passport,they didnt mention the option of delivery in person.

HAHAHA CLS. It's the part they glue into the passport. You didn't get one. The COPR paper is quite ugly and I was told to keep it in a safe place, even after you get your PR card, for citizenship, etc they will request to see the original COPR.

Congrats Orchidea! You will get both the COPR and the Visa in your passport. It's pretty. That part. And then you just need to show them to the airline, to Passport control and to the border agent in Canada.

So today hubby got his PR card in the mail. I was gone for a few days so I'm not sure exactly when it came. But around 6 weeks. Pretty cool! FYI it expires 5 years and 1 month from the day he landed.

Congrats to all with good news. For others, be patient, it's worth the wait!

It's going well I guess! Pretty fast! ECAS shows in progress from the 17th of sep, after only 13 days from the SA...let's see what is gonna happen...I can't wait! On Monday I'll fly back to Toronto to see my wife! I'm so happy!
