There was a thread for Rome. But the people in it have already heard back so I was left there alone.

There are a few Feb Rome applicants so hopefully they will join as well - if you want to maintain a spreadsheet, feel free

I don't want to jinx anything but I have had good experiences dealing with Rome for my Nulla Osta, mariage authentication, etc.

Let's hope they do well with immigration timelines too.

The other 2 in the previous Rome thread were processed within 6 months. So let's hope those timelines remain because I am away from my husband and he can't even come visit :'(

I think that gathering all of us here would be a good idea to share our concernings and our application status. Btw Tom is my father-in-law.

It got so lonely in the thread! There are 2 more Feb applicants so hopefully they see this post and join.

But at the rate that Rome is processing, you'll probably be leaving me soon too!

Poor Tom. I can't imagine waiting that long. It's absolutely horrible except for the fact that they are together.

Actually there is one more applicant in Dec 2013 and one in Aug 2013 . So I count 6 people. You don't have to worry. We are on the same boat here.

When did ECAS show Medicals Received? What DR. did you go to?

When did ECAS show in progress?

Any AOR from Roma?

no medical receive yet and i worry about that! It's been 2 months since we got S.A. And from that day we haven't heard anything. Did you have any updates? No AOR from V.O

I only received AOR yesterday (because they made an error on my file) and can't log into eCAS yet or anything.

I would certainly ask for confirmation of receipt in Rome. Does your eCAS say In Process?

maybe they forgot to update the medicals on my ECAS. We dont have any process only application received in sponsored person box. I did my medicals in Athens. How will you ask for it?

Call Rome or email them at their generic email, quoting your case number. I'm pretty sure there are instructions on how to do it, but I don't know yet.

Rome may be working on your application, but maybe they are not good at updating the on-line stuff. Like I said, one former Rome applicant got COPR in 5 months, and the other got refused after 6. So if they are 3 months in, they should be updating things soon enough.

Maybe ask the August Rome applicant for an update to see if they are updating her eCAS?

Either way, it's best to be patient. But I would want to know they have at least received it!

Feb 12 2014--- Tracking said it was delivered
March 6 2014--- AOR (they said it was received on the 12th)
March 11 2014--- Email that says I qualify as a sponsor and file is sent to Rome!!!!!

Now we wait.
