Renew Work Permit and SIN for Refugee Claimant (no decision yet)

Hello I am Refugee Claimant, still waiting for a hearing, My Work permit will Expire at the end of March this year

My questions:

How can I renew my work permit,? I tried to do that online but I didn't find any option there.

Also, my SIN number is expiring on the same date, so how can I renew it?

And if my work permit and SIN number expired before I received my new work permit? Do I have to stop working?

not if you apply to renew your work permit before it expires, but you need a new work permit to renew your sin.
you need to apply before it expires then you will have implied status.

Hello just to update., I submitted my application online and it was approved.

Attach the explanation letter + photocopy of the certified copy of the seized passport.

They know what is happening with the refugees so don't worry, my passport already expired and I explained to them my situation.

I’m still waiting decision of my appeal to RAD , I applied Work Permit extension but got refused with reason that you didn’t pay applicable fee. So my question is that do we have to pay fee to extend work permit while waiting for Appeal decision.

Yes. Because You Got negative Decision from the IRB.

Yes I was in the same situation and Had to pay a fee, but now my case was referred back to RPD by RAD when my brother applied and He didn't had to pay any fee.

Sir, if you are available, I need your kind assistance that while submitting application for OWP extension again, I selected that final decision is made and I found not to be convention or protected refugees so I got total fee of $255 at the end of the application.

Hi i only paid 155$ , but i would recommend going to a community center for refugees they usually help you free of charge if that's the first time you are extending it.

I’m just confused to choose which option after selecting Refugee Claimant!!!
