Yea sorry, I thought it was the guy above asking about average times and why 20% are delayed past 6 months. I mean, the reason why 20% take longer than 6 months is probably pigeons. But, it might not be.

Also, I'm hilarious.
I asked sttaq if he/she maybe knows a reason (didnt get a reply yet), not you. And no, you are not funny at all.

From what people have said, no. I think money that hasn't been touched for 6 months is assumed yours. 'Cause it is...riiiiiiight??

Haha I stole it

Can you guess any reason for a delay?

Multiple PCCs, many foreign visits, visits to "certain" countries, the efficiency of the officer, third party verification delays etc among other things. Also depends on the specific case and case officer.

Tnx Raj

But come on, 20% that are over 6 months are clearly ones which have issues with them. Maybe it takes CIC longer to verify work experience, maybe the applicant got married and sent off updated docs, maybe the application was put on hold as applicant was pregnant...

There's loads of reasons.

That's pretty much obvious, and I just asked the person for their own circumstance. Like other people are asking other things for other reasons... But then your brilliant pigeons came in. No need to discuss this further with you.

If my pigeons were brilliant then the processing times would be faster.

Also, not entirely sure you're not joking, but there is an entire thread dedicated to people being past 6 months...

Dear All,
Need help on below:
I have declared CAD 23000 for PoF. Out of this, I have 19800 saved for the last many months (in the form of saving certificates). For the remaining 3,200, I am showing my bank account statement for the last three months. BUT in the bank statement, this 3200 is not consistently maintained (although the average is 3200). At present the balance in my bank account is 4725 though. Can not being able to consistently maintain the required balance of 3200 cause any objections?

Unless you have a large family, you will meet the minimum funds, so no, I don't think this will be a problem

Thanks kryt0n. We are a family of four, so the requirement is of 22,603.

Excellent, as long as you can maintain and price the minimum, that's good :)

...so m good to go, right? By the way, I have a reasonable balance of PF too but completely unsure if that would be counted?
