Hi,

Would be needing your help in filling out Personal History - Statutory Questions in PR Application.

My previous Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Application was rejected (Application Ineligible) by SINP due to Proof of Funds (lack of maturity), later I applied for SINP again & I was nominated though. I received my ITA on August 24th draw.

Below are my Queries:

Query#1: It is understandable that I should select YES to the 1st Question. What should I select for 2nd Question below?? YES or NO??

Unless you had any other rejections, you can answer NO to the second question.

Query#2: My Spouse was also part of my previous Application. So, should I select same responses even for her??

I am not sure about this but I guess you can answer "NO" for both the questions since she was not a PA.

Query#3: When I applied for SINP 2nd time, I missed to update below Questions in Schedule A form, now shall I make these fields corrected & upload upfront Schedule A form in LOE section in e-APR??

Suggest you to wait for a Schedule A request.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Has ***** you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. Has ***** ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks Raj for your quick response!!

As I was PNP nominated, CIC must have got all the forms from SINP already. So I don't want to take any chances here as they might think it is misrepresentation, that's why I wanted to submit upfront Schedule A with these 2 questions updated (YES & NO respectively)!

Or would it be fine until they ask me to submit?

If you think it is required, go ahead. Usually, if you have answered "YES" to any of the statutory questions, IRCC is going to ask for the Schedule A form anyway.

I have seen a video and also read on cic website that "Don't leave any field blank but write N/A".
While filling IMM008(Generic Form), not sure above guidelines applies here or not.
There are interconnected questions and next field greys out automatically for specific answers. For example, under question
14 a) Have you previously been married? If you select "No", you can't write "N/A" under 14 b) Provide details of spouse 14 c) Type of relationship 14 d) dates greys out
should I leave them as it is or take a printout and write "N/A" by hand and scan?

Similarly there are two fields for question 9) Citizenship, so should I write N/A on printed page on second field because I hold only one citizenship which has been mentioned in first field under this question. There are many such cases like national id doesn't have expiry date but it's a date field so can't write anything on my own.

I don't want a clerical or format to be a reason for application rejection, please your experience.

Any ideas about how does it take to complete S 16(1) C ?

Guys,

i received GCMS notes, in first page primary office LVO is mentioned
how i would know from notes the date of file transfered to LVO from ottawa?

Secondly, LVO i heard is very fast, but in my case its been 5 months to AOR.

Hi
Are you an inland Pnp applicant?
Did it clearly mention that the VO processing your file is LVO or it has been transferred from LVO to Ottawa?
I read a lot posts from LVO applicants getting their PPR in 2 months time. Also, I didn't know that it's possible for inland applicants having their file processed in their home VO.

Good day, have anybody been rejected after submission of passport. I have submitted our passport last July 18,2016, and until now there is no news at all. I have emailed the Visa but they have not replied. I am quite worried.

What is your vo? I sent mine on 29th july and no update since then.

I'm not clear on two questions posted by ajaybejvada are different

1. Has ***** you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
-- My wife denied visitor Visa for US long time back before we got married, I understand it should be chosen as "Yes"
2. Has ***** ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
-- Isn't first part a duplicate above question, should I select this as well "Yes". But not able to understand why same question would be repeated.

The 2nd question is supposed to refer to being refused a visa or permit upon entry to another country, but is just written poorly.

FYI, I dealt with this by answering "yes" anyway (as if I took the question literally) and providing an LOE.

Rejection after PPR is extremely unlikely (nearly impossible) but this can happen if the VO finds out that there was some misrepresentation involved. Hope you get back your PP soon!

Good luck and all the very best!!

Thank you for the reply, I hope we will get it soon. Until now I have not received our passport.
