For me too was hard, but not so difficult.
I had to go to another city to take the exam (600 km away), but at least in the same country.
Be strong! Next time is gonna be the good one
Thanks for your encouraging words!

Hi,
I want to Opt for TEF, but currently no experience with French.
can you please suggest the sufficient time to prepare for score CLB 7 in all the 4 segments?

thanks in advance...
I studied around 6 months and got Reading CLB 7, but 6 for listening and clb 5 for writing and speaking.

thanks, it leave me in dilemma.

just asking, if one have CRS 431 then what should be the next step...
lot of my friends suggest to wait and watch, but i am bit impatient or probably don't like to sit idle and wait...
May I ask what are your IELTS results? And when is your Birthday? Do you have an accompanying spouse?

If you are not a person who likes to « wait and watch » (as me hehe), you could try to maximize the score or your spouse score (if applies to your case) :)

But it was an important achievement because at least you manage to add some points to your application in short therm. And it compensated the 5points loss for your next Birthday ;)

Hello group members.. please help me on the following matter

I am looking to apply under Canadian Exp Class .I started working on May 1 2017 and I received an ITA in the last draw on 10th May 2018, but the thing is that I went to my home country for around 4 weeks in Jan 2018. so Should I decline the ITA for now and work for one more month or just 2 more weeks because I heard a lot of people saying that 2 weeks vacation is paid so that would be counted as experience as well .
I know guys this is not the right place to ask but I hope you guys understand my situation.

Any help would be appreciated forum members....
Thank You...

Submitted EE profile with 441 CRS on 8th may, didn't expect this score to be so common, fingers crossed:confused:
Good luck. It’s popular as many ppl around 438-442 are hogging this forum. Higher ones dont need to hang here and lower ones losing hope...or trying to improve

We keep coming back to this same thing again and again. Why you guys make it so complicated? We cant know for sure what is the average no of admission per successful applicant? So just think it this way. The target last year also were 71000+ and they issued 84000 ITAs to fill up the target. So this accompanying spouse, dependant and all that equation were present last year as well. This year they are targetting even more. So why all of a sudden you guys start talking about admission and all that crap? I really dont underdstand.

Another thing, every week there are 300-400 PNP nominated profile in the express entry. As far as I remember PNP admission target is different. If they are eating up quota from original FSW then I am sure those ITAs will be excluded from the total target.
We are talking about it today as the CIC seems smarter this year compared to last year and conservative as well regarding the cut off and total invitations per round. This made it more unpredictable, a good/bad thing for CIC. So someof us keep trying to comeup with our best guess while others decide to forget about Canada and opt fir Australia specialy those in IT, Engineering and Accounting.

So the draw on 23rd May is going to be a historic one right? For being one that came without IELTS results anounced. It always feels good to be in a historic moment though CIC seems determined to disapoint us draw after draw... this time they may be running out of option not to reduce the cutoff to somewhere 440/439.

Good news to you! You have chances to improve your CRS. I wouldn’t recommend you to « stay and watch » :).

You are lucky to be in your 20s, it’s a good thing that you are not still been deducted like us in our 30s (5 points each birthday, after 30 ).

So, I would suggest you to evaluate the following:
1- Did your spouse maximized points for language, as you did? If not, maybe retaking the exam could be an option.
2- Learning french and adding points with second language. This could work as a plan B (just in case the score doesn’t decrease to 431 level this year... BUT we all hope that it will reach at least 430). You may take intensive french course. Anyway this will be a plus when you start working at Canada ;).
3- Study an online master from a canadien institution. This is more like a long therm strategy.

With my husband, we are right now at CRS 434, but I am planning to retake exams and try to improve a little bit. We are trying to stay positive about 90th draw... hoping to see minimum drop finally to 439!
