Hi all;

what is the NOC code? :(

The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is the nationally accepted reference on occupations in Canada. It organizes over 30,000 job titles into 520 occupational group descriptions. It is used daily by thousands of people to compile, analyze and communicate information about occupations, and to understand the jobs found throughout Canada's labour market.

The NOC provides a standardized framework for organizing the world of work in a coherent system. It is used to collect and organize occupational statistics and to provide labour market information. The structure and content of the NOC is also implemented in a number of major services and products throughout the private and public sectors.

The NOC is updated in partnership with Statistics Canada according to 5-year Census cycles. It is based on extensive occupational research and consultations conducted across the country, reflecting the evolution of the Canadian labour market

@kitui,

I am sure you have the receipt of post office go and contact them and let them know your situation maybe they return it back to you, I do remember that few month ago I came across such case and interestingly that applicant was not aware that he had send his/her application to wrong address"embassy of Canada" but they "embassy of Canada"delivered the application back to the applicant. same like you he had send to embassy of Canada not BIQ.

good luck

It's called the CNP in French - just so there's no confusion.

Congrats, caribgirl! 8)

Dear Kitui, in addition to what Quebec2011 suggested, u may also which to do any of these as well
1) wait till d strike is over. by this the wrong receipient 1.e will surely retun ur package to u
2) if u cant wait for the strike to b over,send another application, and when u get ur wrongly addressed package, u retrivee ur cheque or CC-form

Thanks Marylatt! I''ll try not to be envious with your super fast Sao Paulo office ;D

@quebec , @egrace.

Finally I got a reply from BIQ HK, rather a bad news and I did not make the cut... But anyway it is fine.

Here are the details for others to know. So that you can have approximate estimate.

Education - 10 ( ELectronics & communication Engineering)
age - 16
experience - 4 ( though I have more than 10 years of experience- I took a break to take care of my family business and started working for the past 2.5 years).
english - 6/6
french - 2/16( since I completed only A1 while applying , now I have A2)

Spouse (education) - 2
spouse (age ) - 3

brother in canada - 0 ( I am yet to send additional document)
Son - 4
finance - 1

Total 48,

I have to score 57 - since I need to respond within 60 days .. I already have A2 with me. So I can get 4 more points, and another 3 points for my brother in canada.

so I am running short of 2 points. With the situation unless my wife clears A1 I cannot make the cut.

However I am planning to send the required documents,, and current working last pay stub. Let me keep my fingers crossed.
