Complete documents were submitted November 2011. February of 2012 i received letter confirming that my application was on process. August 2012 received the invitation for interview and the schedule.

Dear all,

I am new to the forum. I am going to apply for QSW in couple of weeks.

Please help me guys with few tips about the category.

I have checked with one of the consultants about my PR application eligibility and they ensured that I am eligible as per the points required in the category, I also rechecked it on CIC website. But still confused about few things

How much is the processing time in total
If I submit the documents, in how much time I should get the confirmation about selection or rejection
How is the job market in Quebec city
Should I go with a consultant or it is better to go on my own

Hello, my documents arrived at the BIQ on August 17 and I got this mail today (which I suppose is the AOR, can anyone confirm?)
Have you guys received an actual letter for that?

I received the same email in July but have not yet received (and may not receive) a physical letter for it.

Incase I dont know how to edit or type on the forms online, would it be okay if i do it by handwritten? =D

Let’s analyze a bit ur question.

I think that you are talking about the PDF forms, but before asking this question, you should first ask urself why they changed them.

First of all you are applying as a skilled worker, and the environment you are going to, is computerized, which means u are not even able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, power point…. This means again you will not be able to use a computer to hand in your work report.

My suggestions, find someone to help u to fill out your forms, instead of showing BIQ ur inability. I think they changed the forms because some people couldn’t write clearly (time cost).

As u can type something here on this forum, it’s the same way to type on ur forms.

would you mind to share with us where you applied from?

Everything will be just fine, just try to show them that u can speak a bit in French, I mean however u are not that much good,
show them that u want to have an interview in french. if they cannot really understand u, they will switch in English.

and these will not affect much ur interview. they just want to see ur interest. u can even cry (in french, haha!) to show them that you deserve ur CSQ.

Finished Bachelor's degree in Commerce major in Management Accounting

Accomplished and finished Caregiver studies.

Had incomplete MBA units taken.
