@ Lemans207,pls I wuld like to know something about tcf.Am planning to register AF in Nigeria,but they are requesting for a passport photo.Do they affix photo to the certificate just like ielts certificate?I need to know b'cos at another AF branch they are not requesting for a photo and also like to know the type of photo to register with.Thank you.

Pls any other member could respond if you have an idea as I am going to do the registratn today.Cheers.
Hi, TCFQ certificate has no photo, it is not like IELTS... probably they are asking for a photo for their internal file.

@ shooting star; the time varies as per the VO as i myself received a letter for interview im expecting it would probably be in the next mission..max 3 months..i will try my best to improve y oral comprehension...
Thanks vickyRocks. My BIQ is Montreal and the interview center is NY. I wonder what the timelines for Montreal are. This is definitely a good oppurtunity for us all to brush up on language skills and do a preliminary research on Quebec. For me, I am planning to sit for the next level of B2 based on the interview date(DELF B2) and the main applicant needs to give DELF A1 or TCF quebec before the interview.

Idealy when registering for an exam of such nature it is quite normal to ensure that the registered person is identified as the same person that will write the exams hence photo identification is very normal. I can't recall exactly what I submitted during my own registration with AF but I had to identify myself with my international passport for the exams.

Cheers

Dear All,

I have a short question and I would like to have your quick input on this;

I am conservatively hitting '60' points in total for Family Skilled worker. It may jump to 61. However, I did not claim any points for French Language for me nor for my Wife.

1- "Now, I believe when I did not claim French fluency then my interview would/should not be held in French". Your Thought?
2- Secondly, is this absolutely important to have skills in French to grab any points of Adaptability? I mean I do not except my self to learn French before my case in finalized and so I did not claim it on the first place. Yet I am excepting them to either waive my interview off or grant me the 2 or 3 points to make up 63 in total. Your Say?

@VickyRocks
Please, the above questionaires is to give you a general background of understanding. I remember in my case
instead of the interviewer asking me if l was married, he flipped it to ask if l was single.
He also flipped a question about where l live by asking what street do l live.
So try to understand the above questionaires and understand activities around them.

God will SURLY see you through!!!

So, Finally here comes the special day for our friend vickyRocks :) :)

Congratulations Friend, and I wish you Good Luck for the preparations.

Gather all the necessary documents, prepare a special project covering your research about quebec, its history, culture, people, present job markets, trends in your field of job, current wages in your field of jobs, how you will integrate in quebec society, about your future plans of settlement in quebec etc...

also, pay very good attention to your french skills. Not to forget the same for your spouse's french skills. Prepare the answers for all the questions posted here by DebR and Practice all the answers as many times as you can.

Finally, pray to God Almighty to help you sail through it..

I know you are still waiting for the final date for interview, though I may not be able to check forum at that time.. so sharing my suggestions here.. GOOD LUCK !

hi bilal
my friend you are applying for French province so without French how will you prove for the officer that you are serious to live there and find job there. most jobs there requesting French language. the officer will appreciate your honest that you do not know French . but he will appreciate you more if you learn French read in the forum one case has been rejected because the spouse dose not speak French while she the applicant was speak French. I hat had my interview and I can tell that no one will pass without knowing French well. I mean minimum delf b1 .
