Y' a t il du nouveau pour le CSQ
Notre demande de csq (autre membre de la famille) est reçue le 18 février. On attend toujours l'accusé de réception . J'ai lu ici que MIFI sont arrivés vers le 13 février pour les AOR ?!

Maintenant, ça va prendre beaucoup de temps, je suis désolé pour vous, mais je ne pense pas que vous allez avoir votre CSQ avant la fin de l'année. La meilleure chose à faire c'est de l'oublier pour qq. mois.

Je ne pense pas que ça irait jusqu'à l'année prochaine.

I don't think it will take that long but who knows. I received my AOR February 27 2020 and my application is in process since April 16. So let us hope that I will receive it by August. Hopefully :)

Salut, je te conseil de téléphoner car 4 mois juste pour l'accusé de réception c'est beaucoup. Bon après l'accusé de réception ça peut prendre encore 6-7 mois avec la vitesse d'escargot à laquelle ils vont.

On est tous dans le même bateau, ceux qui ont envoyé leurs demandes en Février. Personne n'a reçu leur Accusé de Réception encore - de là le commentaire de l'autre gars.

Selon la spreadsheet en ligne, les derniers à reçevoir un AOR l'ont reçu fin Février après avoir posté leur demande en Janvier. Tu peux comprendre qu'on est tous assez craintifs.

Oui je te comprends. On est vraiment tous dans le même bateau. Même moi qui est reçu le AOR depuis 21 janvier est craintif car l'examen medicale de ma femme expire dans 9 jours.. Donc, il faudra s'armer bcp de patience.

I would actually lose my mind if federal asks to redo the medical :(

If it expires , they will send you medical request again and i am sorry but, yes have to do it again.

I’m not in that situation yet , just telling Malik that if I was I was gona loose my mind

my friend tho last week got a message from our VO saying they won’t send another medical request to her because of covid It’s not her fault it expired

That is good to know. I will call tomorrow to get an update. Hope I get something .. anything new will do :rolleyes:

Hello!
Does anyone know from any recent timelines how long it might take to get COPR after CSQ is approved?
Will MIDI forward straight to IRCC or is it received by mail for us to forward to IRCC?
Have already done medical, biometrics etc.

Also any news on whats happening with potential interviews? Will they be put on hold if a interview is required?

Family reunification
The Department is currently receiving an exceptional volume of family sponsorship cases. As a result, it has become impossible to meet the 25-day deadline set out in the Customer Service Statement.
However, be assured that these delays will not affect the timelines for issuing permanent resident visas to sponsored persons. MIFI and IRCC work together to ensure that your file is processed and visas are issued in a timely manner. Arrangements have also been made so that you do not have to worry about the date of issuance of the Québec Selection Certificate. The MIFI is in charge of making the link with the IRCC.
The Department is currently processing applications received up to:
  • November 20, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;
  • November 14, 2019 for other family members.

Good questions. I can't answer all. However, for CSQ, although MIFI is saying they are communicating it with IRCC, I strongly suggest to first attach a picture to the PA's account, e-mail the VO right away. Then, from my understanding they are sending you two copies one for IRCC and one for your life partner. Also, I am sure they will send instructions as well along with the CSQ. Anyone who have received it recently can confirm?
