Hello, just want to give u an update...after 3 xrays, i am now cleared. I think as long as your sputum culture is negative, they will not advise you to take tb treatment
I also had the same kind of situation I had my sputum test which was negative then had second X ray which has scars then doctor send my report to embassy then next day embassy send doctor mail for another test and meet the specialist doctor again don't know what test they asked again

Hi share ko lang ung experience ko..

Im applying for open work permit.

I had ptb history way back 2009 and completed the 6 months treatment. However after I did my upfront medical (Dec 2018) they instructed me to have a sputum test.

After 8 weeks they said, my culture and mtb was negative and I need to wait for my 2nd xray schedule.

March 8, 2019: the panel physician said, there is a minimal changes(abnormalities) in my xray so they recommended to have a 6 month treatment. Grabe, tinanong ko sila if wala bang confirmatory test at kailangan treatment agad agad, considering that my sputum and mtb was negative.(Hindi ko rin matanggap kasi nov2018 I consulted my Pulmo doctor, nag pachest xray ako and sabi ng doctor ko ok naman daw lahat and nandon pa rin yung scar which is hndi naman na talaga mawawala). Sabi ni panel physician if you cannot decide, you can wait for recommendation of embassy...

So hinintay ko, March 21 I received an email from embassy:

Dear applicant,
Your immigration medical examination result has been received and in order to complete the assessment additional information is required.

Please print out a copy of this message and present it to the panel physician who did your initial immigration medical examination. In exceptional situations, you may utilize the services of another panel physician used for Canadian immigration examinations (http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx). Exceptional circumstances include: moving to a new location making it difficult to visit the original panel physician, or the original panel physician is no longer available.

You have 60 days from the date of this letter to comply with this request.

Same day nagpunta agad ako sa clinic and sabi nila as per advice by the embassy need ko daw mag treatment for 6 months

Iyak ako ng iyak but i have no choice but to comply.

I started my treatment March 22 then monthly monitoring or check up sa clinic.

2nd and 4th month sputum test again

3rd and 6th month xray..

Then after my 6 month treatment (Sept 23 ) and final xray. Finally, thanks God ok na po ang medical ko.

Oct. 4: clinic sent my medical report to embassy

Oct. 7: GCkey account updated(Medical passed. Thank you po talaga Lord)

now im still waiting for the approval and praying for s positive result.
