You can apply for a Masters program in the University(if your grades are good) or a PG Diploma program in College(though some Universities also offer PGD)

Your best bet would be applying to College for a PGD program
Thank you for your response, I really appreciate.
Can u suggest schools that their admission process is not so hard and that I can apply to by uploading my transcript online? I am making my research too.

Schools in Canada are much, first start by knowing the province which you would love to stay and study.. use it as a clue and guide to search for DLI around that province before looking beyond(search for Canada schools using Google as a hint guide)

All DLI in Canada permits online and paper application depending on your choice and convenience. Most international student use online application which is very easy to use and convenient

Hello,
I'm looking at September 2019 intake. I have 14 years study gap.Would really love to do a masters in food technology or masters in management technology and innovation. I have been an wholesaler and retailer of clothes and groceries. I also have an event rental service company.

I plan to move my business into production phase hence my interest in the above mentioned courses. What do you guys think? Any suggestions from you guys on other possible courses based on my experience is welcome.

I would like to know if I need IELTS in order to apply for study visa since ielts is not a requirement from me by the universities because all my studies where in English language.

Which country are you from? If English isn't your first language then you surely need an IELTS to support your application even if you did you studies in English(your DLI might consider it but the VO might not)

Also, you didn't mention your previous studies or degree(you should be very careful in the choice study to choose cause you can also get rejected by it

14yrs gap is much but with a well written SOP, you can talk about it explaining what you've been doing and why you decide not to pursue your masters ever since, and why now?

.with you assets and establishment available to you, you have an advantage of showing home ties etc

@johnsnow007, thanks for you response. I'm from Nigeria. I hold a Bachelors in Biological sciences and a masters in environmental biology but my work experience has been in business and events. I feel its better to do a masters in a course that aligns with my business experience or the next phase I plan to take the business to. What do you think? I'm open to suggestions.

In my opinion, you should consider doing your program that relates with your previous study because it seems more competitive than your intended study interest. Then you can switch course to your choice when you get there

All I know is that its advisable to pay at least the first semester, it would increase your chance

There might be a university that would consider you base on your other academic profile(s).. you just need to do the hard part by searching tirelessly or write/send emails to your prospective school(s) to make a proper inquiry

I don't really know much about business courses but commerce, finance, and business management are related because it has to do with money and economic management..

just try to explain convincing and strongly in your SOP on how they are related, why you choose to do it and how it will help you & your country in future

I am applying to Umanitoba, I got stuck when applying for political studies in the section of filling in "Academic History" and please I need assistance to move on with completing the application.

This is the issue: It keeps showing "please enter a invalid month and year(mm/yy)" which I have done by imputing the required end dates and start dates i.e. "June 2016," still no luck just confused.

Any idea will be resourceful
