Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Since they requested the passport do you think we get VISA stamped for sure ? we didn't get any emails yet from VFS , so How long does it take to get passports back from Colombo CIC.

For my relative last year she got passport within 3 or 4 days so hopefully you will receive soon...

By the way when did u submitted ur additional document ? i mean excat date cause i submitted my schedule A form and police clearance on fed 28th..

I submitted the additional documents 15th of Feb 2016.

but as for police clearance and the medical we pre done it and submit it to Mississauga. only documents they asked was that
copies of alterations and observations pages of your passport.

Does anybody knows what is the average processing time in Sri Lanka for spousal sponsorship. On the website it says 13 months. I hear people telling 4-6 months. Can somebody give me a average timing please?

80% of the application they are processing around 6-8 months 20% v cant assume it may take yearsss

Hi guys I can from canada and my husband in jaffna and my file has been forwarded to colombo and my husband received an email asking him to provide some documents such as bank balance and employment letter from me as well as copy of national id from him.. He went in person and submitted it on feb 10 but the deadline was march 25. And we didnt hear anything back and status says in process.. Can anyone here tell me if you experienced something similar to this.. And they havent posted that they received our documents .. I am really worried...

Did they ask any other additional documents from you?

I don't understand what is the purpose of asking alteration and observation pages from passport....anyone have idea for this?

They don't ask for everyone....only few they are requesting...

Anyway who else got ppr after requesting shcedule A form????
