Got Passport requests today for my whole family and here is the timeline:
ICT WP (LMIA exempt ) filed from US on June 13
Biometrics done on July 29th
Received Passport Request together with biometrics correspondence letter received on Sep 11th

PS: We did not request for notes or gave any other letter to them

Need some suggestion here, my ICT has a client name mentioned that doesn't seem to operate out of Canada (it is basically an US client), however the work location that was mentioned is my current employer branch in Toronto. How do i write a convincing expedite letter to IRCC and what details i can highlight...

Hello, I submitted on May 5th, biometrics have been collected in Jan. 2020 when I applied for visitor visa. Since then there is no update at all. I send a webform inquiry two weeks ago and got the response after one week, which is just a template saying they are processing my application.
I am LMIA exempt work permit, type A, for postdoc scholars.

Feb 27, 2020 Applied online USA
March 16, 2020 Gave Bio-metrics
April 01, Submitted status inquiry to IRCC to follow up on application
May 05, Got reply stating application are on hold due to COVID
July 23, 2020 Application Approved
July 23, 2020 Got Bio-metric conformation letter
August 06, 2020 Submitted GCMS request
August 21, 2020 Received GCMS notes
August 31, 2020 Wrote to COVID-Travel exemption email
September 03, 2020 IRCC reply with " Application approved but not sending passport request now ..."
September 10, 2020 Reply to IRCC
September 14, 2020 Received email stating that they are going to send the passport request letter
September 14, 2020 Received the passport request letter.
October 15, 2020: travel to Canada
