PR for protected person

I applied for PR in September 2021 thru protected person status and since then it's pending background check. last week I called IRCC and they said they will send a follow up request to the processing officer. After 2 days I received an email from processing office saying "Communication regarding the next steps to finalize your application will be sent to you in the near future"

Anyone went through same experience can provide insight on timeline

Could be up to a few months if everything has been completed and passed.
