Hi all,

It's been 42 days since my P1 and still haven't received my P2 from Montreal. Do you think it's a good idea to send an email to all the visa offices, or wait a bit more?

Try your luck and send an email as soon as you can. Many of us here have done it and did not have to wait until we reach 42 days, and the results were positive. It's not a perfect guarantee, but you can always try. Montreal VO has always been very late (at least for many including myself) in processing P1.

Mine is 53calendar days and its around 36 business days..No update from them

No, I just sent another email to Montreal last week, but still nothing. I will send an email to all the visa offices I guess. It's been too long.

Recent update:

Feb 7, 1:30pm EST - Sent emails to all VO
Feb 8 - received eCOPRs for me and my 2 dependents from Calgary's IRCC this morning.

All case was initially processed through Sydney. P1&P2 - Montreal

My P1 was Dec 8th and still no P2. I think you may have a little while longer to wait
