PR confirmation portal timelines

This is the heading on my dependants P2 email - "PR Portal (PR confirmation) - New Case Created Under Your Account"

I spoke with a live agent and she confirmed receipt of my P1 email and also confirmed all my contact details. She did not provide insights into the account and next steps but she stated that they have everything they require. Im just not sure why the delay and if anyone else is experiencing the same timeline.

That is really strange, because there should have also been the the email (to you, as primary applicant) with the new credentials. How did you manage to sign-in if you did not get the temporary password from the P2 mail? Because the "new case" email does not have the temporary password (at least my dependents' emails did not).

In any case, it sound like when you sign in, you are not seeing your own case details. So I would suggest that you raise a webform (or email to the P1 address) telling them that your case is not linked to the portal, so you have been unable to make the declaration of presence and upload your picture, and ask them to re-generate the link.

Exactly - I have raised a webform.

I linked the application to the portal on submission. So dint require a temporary password to sign in.

I just clicked the PR Portal link in the email and signed in using my credentials.

Dependant files was updated, mine not yet.

Final decision (approved) was June 18, 2025.

Status updated date June 19, 2025 that PR card was mailed and it can take up to 6 weeks to arrive.

I am in Vancouver.

Can anybody tell me when I can expect my PR card?

Hope it will not take 6 weeks.

Yep, last couple of postings seem to show faster times between P2 and eCOPR: less than 25 days, instead of more than 60 days. Maybe to compensate for longer time between P1 and P2.

Don't worry, I got my eCOPR March 29 and got the PR card only in June 15. They take long time to process
