PR Card Renewal June 2026

I applied for my extension on June 28th 2026 and my json was updated on Aug 5th with photo issue.

I took the photo from staples and uploaded the digital copy only. I saw a couple of people had similar issue. did u guys get any update after that? did you guys act upon it?

I had the same issue, since there is no official communication from IRCC to me, i am not taking any action. I am waiting for my PR card to show up - thats the most probable thing to happen.

That’s the right thing to do. I'm not sure how accurate the status in the JSON is. In my case, the JSON was updated to complete about a month ago, but they mailed my PR Card today.

My JSON stated completed over 6 weeks ago too and I heard from an agent that my application was last seen on July 2 by an officer. This process is so frustrating

That’s the right thing to do. I'm not sure how accurate the status in the JSON is. In my case, the JSON was updated to complete about a month ago, but they mailed my PR Card today.

Were you able to link your application in GC account once Json is completed? If yes, you would have seen status as in progress initially. but, what is final decision/approved date in your gc account? that help us to find out how much time its taking to ship the card.
It seems, when Json completed, its started the process and the completion time is not sure exactly...

It shows the approval date as August 14, 2026 in the GCKey account. It seems 30 days processing is after JSON shows as completed.

Thank you. So the status gets updated when card is ready and mailed to us.
But it’s more than current processing time 41 days.

I don’t know what took them so long, but these long processing times are frustrating.

I applied for my PR Card renewal on june 23 still no update and am not able to link my application to GCKey and i dont even have application number my pr portal just shows submitted only. Dont know what to do. Please someone let me know how to link application to gckey i have tried couple of times but fails everytime.

Call IRCC and ask for application no.
