PR Card Renewal June 2026

I submitted PR application renewal on 1st June 2026. I have not received any application number or confirmation.

@zestylaw As of today, I am able to link my application using GCkey. I got application number today when I tried to link application in the portal https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca . I was not able to link the application before June 28th. The status in portal mentioned above , now shows "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.". So it seems like they are starting the process on our application approximately 30 days from application submission date. But once they start the process, they might give decision in less than a week or so. I am really I get decision made as approved in less than week and get my PR card in next 10 days maximum. Let's hope for the best !
That’s great news! I wish you get your card in a week or so. If that’s the case in processing timeline, I hopefully get some update by July 15 then as I submitted my application on June 15.
I applied on June 3 online for PR card renewal with urgent processing request (need to travel internationally for work). Didn't receive any acknowledging email or application number. On July 2 my status on the PR portal still listed as 'Submitted', and I haven't been able to link my application to the GC Key. Submitted a web form request for an update but only received what look like an automated response with no actual information. I tried calling IRCC on July 2 but was unable to talk to an operator.

Vous pouvez téléverser un reçu indiquant le nom et l’adresse de l’endroit où vous avez pris la photo. Avant de numériser et de téléverser le reçu, assurez-vous d’y inscrire votre nom complet et votre date de naissance.
Typically card will show up in your mailbox if normal processing. Would also look at processing times with a buffer especially during the summer or other holiday time where staff may be lower or more star holidays. If your timeline is much longer than other for a straightforward renewal for with enough buffer days then I would start looking into things but most will receive their new PR card in the mail within 1-2 months of applying.
