PR CARD RENEWAL 2025 August

Update: According to IRCC customer care, my new PR card was dispatched on October 27, 2025. However, they indicated that delivery via Canada Post may take approximately 4 to 6 weeks. I’m wondering, does it really take that long? I am based out of Montreal

[Update]- Card delivered today (3-Nov-2025).

You can travel outside Canada without one; you need the PR card to return. If you don't get it, you can apply for a PRTD or return via a land border (if you can travel through USA).

Hello, just to confirm we can return via land border with expired pr card...what documents would be required?
